Luckin Coffee (Chinese Starbucks) acquired Blue Bottle retail operations for $400M from Nestle, who had bought a majority at a ~$700M valuation back in 2017. Blue Bottle had raised from True, Index and GV. Nestle will keep the FMCG brand. Luckin was delisted from the Nasdaq in 2020 when it came out that they had fabricated $310M of sales, and paid a $180M fine. I'd bet a large cup of Ethiopian coffee that 90%+ of Lifetimely, Meteorik, TrueProfit, etc. users more less only use the dashboard. That means you're dropping hundreds of $$ a month just for a dashboard because you're also paying for attribution etc. If that sounds like you, at least switch to Kleio and pay only $29 😂 (You probably still won’t use the other features, but hey, you’ll save some cash!)

Swapping from Blotout to Upstack is kind of like switching deck chairs on the Titanic, there are 200+ CAPI connectors out there, all promising slightly different flavors of the same thing, and most ultimately land you in the same place. Sure, using any of these is better than nothing, but they all share one critical limitation: none can store behavior data longer than Meta does, so you eventually hit the same wall no matter which one you use. I talk to folks every week who’ve played musical chairs with these connectors, hoping for a magic bullet only to watch performance plateau yet again. At this point, the solution isn’t another connector.

Will swapping my CAPI from Blotout to Upstack change anything?

@JosephPutnam @Shopify Worked out great for me and the rates being offered were very fair. No other company could come close to what Shopify offered.

If I could give @Shopify stores just ONE piece of advice it would be this... Whatever you do, DO NOT take out an @Shopify loan. It's difficult to explain how much of a burden it is on your business when you have to immediately pay back a % of your daily sales to @Shopify. It's borderline predatory and makes it super difficult to have enough cash to grow your business. If you've worked with a client who's taken out an @Shopify, you know what I'm talking about.

@JoeWelstead I use ReDO, which I started using just because it was already in the returns software. It just has very basic ticketing but that’s all you need. Keep it simple.
