I’m split on this. What Trump said was bizarre and so ill mannered it’s obviously scandalous. However that’s how Trump is, and at times it works to our benefit. On the other hand, I’m actually SO SICK of popes just copy and paste the same absolutely worthless tweets on Twitter. “We need peace. More immigrants. Jesus is love. War is bad” Like how does this actually help us. I roll my eyes every time because it’s like someone who basically doesn’t help at all for peace who just says “we need peace.” K how do we logically get there? Bc I’m gonna be totally honest yall, praying rosaries every single day has not been working the way we hoped. The random miracle that the entire world gets along and stops sinning hasn’t come. And to be frank, it’s scandalous to assume God doesn’t hear the prayers of someone. I think the pope’s comment was dumb. But it didn’t warrant Trump’s usually narcissistic response. However, it wasn’t shocking and it’s also not as big of a deal as people are making. Move on
