@VirtualJames@commodoreofcl The cart has everything made for the MAX-04. Off the top of my head I think its 33 games, BASIC and BASIC Max so 35 programs.
@VirtualJames@commodoreofcl Yes, I do. I have always been a box saver. The VICMODEM, MODEM 1200 and 1351 mouse are mine from the 80's. The two 1764 REUs I have got since I started collecting in September 2021.
@CharlesHawn66@commodoreofcl That is the most impressive drive collection I've seen. I've got three of those, I'd love a 1551 being a 264 fan like you, so rare and even when they come up, mega bucks!
@CharlesHawn66@commodoreofcl That MAX, I will own one, I keep telling people I'm done collecting, then I see another machine I'd love to get! That's on there, and that modern cart for it looks cool too
Just completed Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the Nintendo Wii. If you're a Silent Hill fan and you've not played it, check it out. I thought it was excellent, especially on the Wii with phone calls coming through your remote! youtu.be/42FF9ismMWY?si…
@CharlesHawn66@commodoreofcl Still blows my mind that no only have you got a 116 (me too), but a few SX64s, a MAX! Some of your collection is so rare 😍
@gregnacu@beepfixer I'm with you GN. Giving us the option to load a tcp stack and sacrifice a second would be ideal. I'm just having a look now to see if anyones managed a mod, a virtual wic64 or the like. A long shot I'm sure
@gregnacu@beepfixer Exactly that GN a small adapter and if that needs power us a USB port or gpio pin depending on what Pi you use. Apparently no networking as he wants it as lightweight as possible so it’s almost instantly on. No latency
@VirtualJames@beepfixer Is there any hack or mod or optional way to get it to output a composite or svideo signal? Or maybe you just would need a standard HDMI to svideo adapter hidden away inside the C64 case. There is plenty of room!
@gregnacu@beepfixer Yes sorry it’s a shame isn’t it. Especially when the Pis can do it. I might message the creator about it. You’d imagine it’s possible
@VirtualJames@beepfixer I’ve just learned there’s no networking support (yet?). This makes me a bit sad. 😔 C64 OS more and more needs networking support to really get the most out of it.
Evening RIP Chuck Norris we met a few times in America just at the start of his film career, he asked me if I wanted to take up Karate I said no I'll stick to the aftershave (Hi Karate for those of you a little younger was an aftershave in the 70's & 80's) Chuck had amazing strength. Nice man
