"The US military is going to likely be ejected from the Indo Pacific soon: voters in Southeast Asia are going to be asked to choose whether they can drive their cars and push out US bases and capacity or, not drive their cars and then get routinely abused, tariffed and face economic collapse. It is not hard to see where this will go - the conga line of enablers and suck-ups in the US administration is going to end US capacity to project power in the Pacific." syncretica.substack.com/p/questions-an…

@DoggyDog1208 @matthewstoller @niubi The only one lying is you. You don't like when I fact check you. You don't like when I destroy you on a regular basis, you've well earned your king of the retards title, yet it follows you in everything you do, as you are king of the retards. I agree you have mental illness.

@Why__Knot @matthewstoller @niubi O… M… G… noob 🤦‍♂️ China ran a $1.2T trade surplus last year. By mathematical definition, $1.2T of capital exited China. China isn’t giving goods away for free, dumdum. BRI investments/construction had a record year… twice as much as previous highs.

🤦‍♂️… Everyone was working on “do-everything” agents, bro. OpenClaw just jumped the gun before it was ready. Watch the Chinese eat it alive. Bytedance had a do-everything agent running on a ZTE phone in beta last year. Probably far most sophisticated than the OpenClaw slop. Got banned by all the platforms because it was clearly too powerful as a proprietary product and would have sidelined all the platforms from Tencent to Meituan. Everyone then switched to doing open source agents, where all the kids can play, and OpenClaw jumped the gun and released a just barely workable product. Just like everyone was working on LLMs 5 years ago and Tsinghua’s Wudao was the largest, most sophisticated model – multimodal years before everyone else – but OpenAI jumped the gun and released janky GPTChat for fund raising purposes… which forced all the other shops like Google to release their models prematurely. So no, China isn’t following. It has always been on the cutting edge. The US likes to pretend they innovated everything… like Tesla with EVs… but it always turns out to be a joke because it was actually China that rescued Elon’s almost bankrupt ass by showing him how to scale. The proof always reveals itself. Tesla is now uncompetitive… mogged by dozens of Chinese EV makers. There are dozens if not hundreds of Chinese open source LLMs that make closed source business models a joke. And the hundreds of Chinese OpenClaw versions just shows who’s really driving agent innovation. Americans always makes a lot of noise (and OpenClaw guy isn’t even American) … when China had already been working on something for months if not years… It will soon be evident that OpenClaw was just noise… it’s “inventor” can’t keep up with the big boys… because he wasn’t really the inventor. Just some wyboy clown who raced ahead of all the Kenyan in the first 5 km of a marathon to get on TV. Very hajnali behaviour.

Why is China following the US on this stuff?

@MaratLives @joequant The straight of Hormuz is not closed and has never been closed. But volumes are down. It is down because Iran has threatened to fire missiles to ships passing through. You only need a couple guys who can launch a missile from shore, to do that.

So this is where reality hits fantasy. The US claims that they've destroyed the Iranian military. GREAT!!!! Then just send in the US military march to Tehran and unblock the straits. The longer the US waits before taking military action, the longer people will start thinking

@Vidyut You are supportive of a regime that: - explicitly authorizes child rape, child marriage and sexual molestation. - has killed hundreds of thousands of their own people (32,000 since January) - funds most terrorism in the middle east - controls media and emits propaganda

Rather than try to get the political support for a long war, the US started on day one announcing that this was a short war, which means that you are going to have a total disaster in about a month. I think that the Israelis managed to get Trump to attack Iran by promising him

What is remarkable about the Iranian war is that the Trump and the US/Israeli forces on day one promised a short war. Usually in this type of war, one side is able to put in overwhelming military force and the other side just extends the war for as long as possible.

@DoggyDog1208 Doggy: repeats tired unoriginal talking points from Chinese state propaganda. (Pretends he is original) Gets destroyed on a regular basis by others who see through his shallow efforts. Gets butthurt by being fact checked. There's a reason you're known as king of the retards

Whadafuq is wrong with wypipos? They say something stoopid. I show them that it’s not only wrong but couldn’t be further from the truth. They have no response… except to go right back to saying same stoopid thing. No Retardo, there has never been a frugal BRI era. It was a COVID lull. 2024 was a record year. 2025 doubled that record. BRI is going exponential.

If Iran is winning then I am happy to pay more, a lot more for oil, gas, food, material, anything. That's the price the world has to pay to end oppression and hegemony.

Message from a friend in Iran 🇮🇷: "I’m not too bad. I have a lot of things I want to say, but overall the situation here is very difficult and strange. I don’t really know how to explain it… my country is being attacked, yet part of me feels hopeful. We’re enduring it in the hope that this regime will finally fall. The inflation is terrifying, some bank accounts have been frozen, and the global internet has been cut off. Only a very small percentage of people can still connect, and it costs a lot. I had to pay a lot of money just to be able to get online. I don’t really know how to describe what I’m feeling. It’s a mix of anger, fear, hope, exhaustion, and even some happiness. I feel lost somewhere between all of those emotions. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay connected. Please keep us in your prayers, for freedom from this murderous regime."

@getmekiwis @ordinary__saab @Broufus The breakdown in Iran is roughly: - 20% support regime (mainly islamists) - 60% staunchly against the regime - 20% undecided/don't care/indifferent
