Intresting short article in @NatureMedicine discussing the decline in clinical academics in the UK and US. Another issue, not discussed, is the failure to recognise all the components of the job equally, clinical/research/teaching. The interests of Universities and the NHS are not the same and clinical academics suffer as a result. @StephenORahilly

Great paper from @DrBenNeel dissecting and anticipating KO resistance mechanisms to SHP2 inhibition (where SA activity apparent). LZTR1 for the win, with some new proteins to dig into. Hopeful for ORFeome screen to follow, suspect will more map downstream.
