Lovely sentiment, but it's balderdash. Canada has a population 1/11 of the United States, and only contributes around 1% of the Global GDP. Canada - and the world - have to contend with the United States' decision to go bilateral, because the U.S. purchases about 60% of everything sold. If you want to sell, you need the U.S. - or you're just going to sell a lot less, and grow poor.
