"Today we conducted a joint search of a facility that we all thought would have some sort of relation to Austin Tice. So, I understand, of course their past, but what I can tell you is that right now they're being helpful in the search for Austin," @StateSPEHA told us about the physical search the US and HTS conducted of one of Assad's prisons where Austin Tice might have been held in Syria.

Houston-native Austin Tice has been held captive in Syria for 12 long years. As chaotic events unfold in Syria, we have an opportunity—and responsibility—to locate and bring him home. Austin Tice's brother and sister just spoke with @JohnBerman. Asked if there's new information, they told him: "We know that Austin is alive and we know Austin is in Syria." The prison releases and family reunions they're seeing in Syria is giving them hope.
