WTF just happened in London😳 This is straight-up insane. Early this morning around 4:30 AM on Argyll Street in central London (right near Soho, Oxford Street vibes), a 29-year-old woman allegedly plowed her car straight into a group of pedestrians like it was nothing. Three people are in the hospital right now: One woman (an influencer named Klaudia) is fighting for her life in critical condition. A man in his 50s has life-changing injuries. Another woman in her 30s is also hurt. The driver was Arrested on the spot for attempted murder, GBH (that's serious bodily harm), dangerous driving, AND drink driving. She's still in custody. But here's the wild part everyone’s talking about: Word is she’s a fellow influencer named Rielle. Cops say this wasn’t terrorism... it was jealousy. Apparently her ex hooked up with Klaudia, and she lost it completely, ramming the car into them out of pure rage. People at the scene say she even got out and kicked the victim afterward. Video shows total chaos, bystanders filming while this unfolded. One bad breakup decision and she might’ve thrown her entire life away... plus ruined others forever. All over a guy who wasn’t even hers anymore. This is why you gotta heal, not harm, folks. Jealousy is a disease.

Here’s the full Drivetime item on the shocking news that a chief medical regulator has been recused from puberty blockers research oversight because he understands that sex is real and isn’t afraid to say so A bizarre suite of questions from @cathynewman and no balance (though @TimesRadio would refer to ‘balance over time’ which is ok) This is what happens when you base your coverage on the belief that people *might* be able to change sex. As a presenter or journalist you don’t have to believe that people *can* change sex, and certainly Newman would deny it. Her position is that everyone has to be neutral on whether it’s possible to change sex, or whether men are women. That includes, obviously, regulators. At one point she even suggests Professor George should be chucked off the MHRA completely, so sure is she that ‘biological sex’ is just an opinion. So long as you’re neutral on whether people can change sex, you’re building your journalism on inaccuracy. They can’t. It’s a fact. Facts are neutral. They aren’t ‘views’ - much less views that should lose you a job or be discussed by a committee of MPs. You might as well discuss what colour is sleep, or what kind of cars elephants drive. It’s all built on a chimera. It’s a waste of time. The only difference between Cathy Newman and most other broadcasters here is that she wasn’t too embarrassed to pick up this tip-off. Most build their editorial policies on exactly the same position - that biological sex and gender identity are two opinions of equal value. The broadcasters think they are therefore impartial. They don’t understand that even the belief that you *might* be able to change sex shouldn’t be brought to the desk. What they consider to be neutrality - is actually bias. Just stick to the facts - two sexes, can’t swap. Curate your debate around that.

Good. We know that these drugs are actually a form of conversion therapy on gay kids told they were born the wrong sex. As I have said many times: NO CHILD IS BORN IN THE WRONG BODY❗️ Under my leadership, Conservatives will do everything to protect childhood. Let’s focus on giving children and young people a positive body image instead of drugging them into oblivion and leading them down the path of irreversible biological changes. No child can consent to such treatments. So it is right that this unethical trial is paused. It should be stopped completely. Thank you to @StuartAndrew, @RosieDuffield1 and all the cross-party parliamentarians who signed my letter calling for this.
