I rebuke you!” You’re shouting like a possessed woman. In the panic, you slow down, forget to downshift. The manual car stalls. The “devil” looks at you. Now it’s serious. Every story you’ve ever heard floods in, animals turning into beautiful women & women with hooves… Your mouth goes dry. You can’t even rebuke anymore, I mean what if it reacts? You try to start the car. Nothing. Battery terminal is loose. This is it. Your day has come. Satan is here with you. Still, your brain hasn’t processed, it’s a camel. Then suddenly… The desert ship looks away and starts chewing. …Wait. You breathe. “… okay… not today.” You gather courage, step out, open the hood, fix the terminal. Engine fires. As you drive off, you take one photo of the beast. Easy. Breathe out…& drive off in peace. Just a camel it was. But then it hits you, Who the hell had a camel parked by the roadside, next to a forest in Kirinyaga? You accelerate like a madman. Not running from the camel, but from the mindset you were raised with, where everything unknown is demonic. Anyway… good morning 😄
