This post seemed to be touting the ease with which they could sell Bitcoin to fund dividend obligations, now or in the future. With the mNAV sitting at 1.0, I cannot explain the decision to sell more stock rather than a tiny amount of Bitcoin to beef up the USD reserves.

Some thoughts on $STRC. If you offered investors an 11.5% yield and could guarantee the dividends would be paid for the next 10 years, I think most people would take that deal. So the issue isn’t the yield. The issue is confidence in the sustainability of that yield over time. Strategy therefore needs to convince the market that it can reliably meet its dividend obligations through *all market conditions.* Given Bitcoin’s volatility, the best way to do that is by maintaining a USD Reserve large enough to cover ~five years of dividend payments — effectively spanning a full traditional Bitcoin cycle. That kind of reserve would give investors greater confidence to hold the product through periods of stress. Combine that with a commitment to repurchase $STRC whenever it trades below a predetermined threshold and you significantly reduce volatility and create a far more stable product. And that alone would likely reduce the need to actually repurchase shares. Much like the Fed’s “whatever it takes” moment, the commitment itself often stabilises conditions before action is even required. As both $BTC and $STRC mature and earn greater trust, the size of the reserve can fall in line with that trust.

Make MSTR shares scarce, by reducing the supply curve, just like Bitcoin Halvings. + Liquidity is the enemy of Convexity. + Scarcity is the friend of Convexity. Strategy can still keep STRC shelf as is, but time to prioritize MSTR shareholders. 2X the market cap by MSTR price increase, NOT 2X share increase. Time to move on. $MSTR is now trading at a substantial MNAV discount. Since 11/20/24 I've been posting daily that the company is destined for this future and to sell MSTR and replace with BTC or IBIT MSTR is down 82% while BTC is only down 36%. Muting Saylor and Strategy And MSTR and STRC and anyone who comments with anything other than "Thanks Andy" like comments. It's been a fun ride but it's over and boring today. Hopefully I can avoid posting about this silly company forever more

Last week, I was involved in a serious car accident in Missouri and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital. I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I have received, from the first responders to the doctors, nurses and medical staff. I’m incredibly fortunate to be writing this.  As a result of the accident, I sustained significant injuries, including multiple fractures and broken ribs. I also underwent a life-saving amputation of my left arm. While I have a long road ahead, I’m focused on my recovery and taking things one day at a time.
