@hardeep_gambhir taste is the moat everyone ignores. features are easy to copy. the thoughtfulness behind how it feels and works is what separates products people tolerate from ones they love. the agent space is flooded with tools that do the job but feel like homework

every single person is building an agentic video editor and so few people are building it with taste and passion. literally all which i have used so far are so sloppy right now.

@hardeep_gambhir Would love to chat and see where you really want help. Our POV is that LLMs simply do not have taste. There is no eval. Agents should help with the boring stuff and leave the storytelling / creative edit up to us (humans).

This video was edited entirely by Claude Code. I just gave it the files. If 50 people comment, I'll share the exact setup.

@scottbelsky also a better world to live in because then we can hold humans accountable for both the good and bad things their agents manifest in the world

thinking: products that help humans get credit for the work accomplished by agents they supervise in the enterprise will have better adoption than agentic solutions that do the work instead of humans. credit feeds ego, drives adoption...and accountability.

i know everyone is building ai software but is there anyone opening up an ai native law firm? like built from the ground up, every service, every area is a person or two empowered by custom built software.

I've been in venture for almost a decade, and I've never seen anything like the current YC batch. Truly blown away by what small teams are able to ship with AI. What a remarkable time to start a company!

I think it's a strategic mistake for at least one of Lovable, Replit, etc... to broaden out the way they are right now. Each agent market is going to be bigger and more complex than any of us can see today. Trying to be the "everything agent" this early in the game reminds me of the startups who tried to be the "everything app" in the last era. No one succeeded. If someone wins it all, they will deserve all of their flowers and then some.

"it's like having a team of experts working relentlessly around the clock with incredible results" I know we still have a ton to build, but notes like this keep me going!

i'm datz (@190k), the one behind velocity. moved to silicon valley at 18. did a startup right after high school, raised millions, and failed. silicon valley has always been my dream. i think it's not silicon valley without legendary founding stories. as a founder, that's what has always excited me the most. but here's the problem:

Hollywood spent $100M+ and years to make The Social Network, WeCrashed, SuperPumped. they're too slow. introducing Velocity. legendary tech stories, shipped fast with AI. first drop: Twitter Wars which company should be next?
