I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but Labour's vote share is smaller than Conservative and Reform combined. That's not going to be easy to square.

I just can’t get past Labour winning 65% of seats off 34% of the vote. Absolutely wild mismatch between the headline result and, well, everything else. Britain is now a multi-party system, and first-past-the-post can’t cope.

Such a shame @British_Airways - you get us to LHR T5 early then we sit in plane waiting for a slot for 80 minutes (so far!). Then finally you find a gate free at B terminals (545L) and the guidance system is broken. You couldn’t make it up.

When supermarkets cut the prices they charge they don’t pay the same price to the supplier and take the hit themselves… they force their growers/suppliers to take the hit for them… they are giving away the farmers money to drive people in store to make £ on other products

@GavinQuinney Or, retro funding is agreed on a case sold out basis. Either way, suppliers tend not to do the activity if it doesn’t add up for them.

@GavinQuinney No it’s not. All promotions will be planned as part of an annual business plan between supplier and retailer, with volume uptake commitments made. Price paid for the promotional part of annual volume will usually be lower but the non promo volume price will be higher.

@British_Airways Three calls in an attempt to solve an issue (with your systems) on a booking - 2.5 hours waiting and finally get through to be told to call a different number. Now Gold Line says it can’t take calls. Any suggestions?
