@Redbird_Winner @EricCrossMLB He was being used as an RP last spring training in NY. His velo jumped significantly. IMO his RP experience unlocked how to unleash his pitch mix with more effort and it translated when he went back to SP use. I grabbed him in rookie drafts thinking he might close games.

@EricCrossMLB Crazy that Cam S wasn’t heard of by many this time last season. ESPN didn’t even have him existing in their pool of fantasy players.

@Roto_Frank Yeah always lots going on.. he was getting a lot of buzz in ST. Was added to the 40 man during the winter so the team was taking him seriously. His hard hit and exit velo was way up. I think he set a record for most consecutive hits over 110 EV (may have been 100+) in ST.

@davidodomcpt We explained on the pod. He wasn’t in even in the Dbacks top 30 prospects and had a subpar minor league career up until spring training. There are a million things happening in spring training but admittedly I did not see what he was doing.

Shane McClanahan had 7 Ks over 3.2 IP while collecting 10 Whiffs and topping out at 97.5 MPH. His Changeup registered a 67% Whiff% (8/13) and he tossed 55 pitches this afternoon. A very encouraging sign as we inch closer to the start of the Regular Season.

Sam Antonacci has quietly been having a good spring. 18 PA 4/13 2B, 2 HR, 3 SB 3 BB, 0 K I have him as a Top-100 prospect now.
