@rain8miao the thing i keep seeing with the buildinpublic movement on X is that vibe coding is easy, the thing people struggle with most is getting customers. so vibers is a newsletter app so they can write posts – published on the platform and sent out by email to their subscribers.

Day 8 of Ship and Die 🏴‍☠️ Today was mostly about working on the landing page + fixing a few things in the algo. I added more data, manually roasted a few websites to catch edge cases, and kept improving the output. Also, build in public is already bringing traffic. Peak at 45 visitors today after 5 days live, with the site only shared on X and still just one page. Now the goal is simple: convert, learn, improve, repeat

@rain8miao no, we're not asking people to pay to be subscribed to a newsletter. it's charging people to have a newsletter and use our system to send them out. we're more like the Substack revenue model than the Mailchimp one. I'd rather grow the brand and momentum and monetize later.

@dougsapps Me personally not gonna pay for it. I subscribed a bunch of news letter, and pile it up in my email. I never checks it. like starter story, I didn't sub their newsletter but sometimes I watch their youtube interview

@dougsapps sponsership requires you to build large audience. so it's gonna be really hard. and gonna take long time for you to see your first dollar. youtube could be a good additional marketing channel, and they have good creator revenue share
