You tried to paint me as a pervert for exposing fraud, and as a result radical leftists started trying to dox me and send death threats, wanting to kill me. Now you are taking credit for “leading the charge” on the fraud. Are you serious? You are the fraud.
Governor Gavin Newsom@CAgovernor

California is again leading the charge against large-scale identity theft and hospice fraud. Today, we're taking decisive action against 14 providers who tried using stolen identities to bill Medi-Cal for nonexistent hospice services.

Same prescription medication. Same prescription insurance. Yet, we have 6 different prices over a 10-month span. Huh, wonder why that is? @CVSHealth care to comment?

Has anyone else seen those @OakStreetHealth commercials on TV? What a gigantic load of horseshit. Why is there no mention that @OakStreetHealth is owned by @CVSHealth? That should be clearly stated. So a patient could theoretically have @Aetna insurance, Use CVS/Caremark as their PBM, Use @OakStreetHealth for their physician needs. Use @cvspharmacy to fill their prescriptions. All of those companies are owned by the same parent company. These companies don’t care about your health. They care about your money. And they will take as much of it from you as humanly possible until all of the competition is gone.

Today in my weekly 1:1 with my boss I was informed that my perfume is too strong and it’s offensive to others in the office. Ive worn the same 2 or 3 perfumes for 3 yrs 🤷🏽‍♀️ I smiled and said ok… she continues about how she won’t say who said it and I assured her I didn’t need to know who it was. In my mind if someone said it it’s already said right?? Was I supposed to walk around angry that someone doesn’t like my perfume and confront them? She continued to talk about it and I just sat there remembering how the last month she has been coughing and gagging during our 1:1 meetings. Saying excuse me I have a tickle in my throat or something about her allergies. I smile at the memory and reassure her I’ll take care of it. My goal is to not react negatively and move on to the next topic. She then tells me I don’t have enough pto to cover the day I requested off. I remind her payroll closed yesterday so the hours I need to cover my balance will be available before end of payroll.

How much are 2 tablets of diazepam worth to a patient who needs to relax before a procedure? Apparently, to the insurance company @AmbetterHealth - it’s only worth 15 CENTS. Although I’m sure they are getting billed much higher than that, but their PBM CVS Caremark @CVSHealth, is only passing through this piddly amount to the pharmacy. **Side note: it costs the pharmacy 18 CENTS just for receiving this prescription electronically, as required by law. So, we already lost before we even touched the prescription. Thanks to the ACA, this plan will continue to churn out more bullshit claims like this.

UnitedHealth Group pulled in $370B in 2024—and now its Optum arm employs more physicians than anyone else in the U.S. It’s not just the insurer. It’s also the PBM setting drug formularies and the employer of the doctor requesting approval. One company, every side of the transaction. Monopolistic control over the most lucrative, cash-flow-rich industry in the U.S.—one that directly shapes your health and wellbeing.

Today’s edition of a patient getting screwed by their Medicare Advantage plan: Try to bill a generic box of pen needles for insulin. NOT COVERED- MUST USE BD-EMBECTA BRAND. Re-bill for the Embecta product required by @DevotedHealth Plan makes the patient pay the “full cost” $63.21 for the branded pen needles. (Which doesn’t even cover the pharmacy purchase cost) Looks like I’m cashing this out for the cheaper pen needles for a fraction of the cost to the patient.

Peri/menopause isn’t a “new trend.” It’s what happens when an ENTIRE generation of women hits a life transition we were never properly studied for, educated about, or prepared for. GenX and Xennials weren’t “caught off guard” because we’re dramatic…we were kept in the dark. I see you. XO, Dr. Jen

My biggest pet peeve: What time is dinner, Christy? Me: 6pm. Inlaws: Ok Me: See ya then. (Knowing they won't be here on time.) Currently 6:45. Kids:" I hate when they dont value our time. It's like this every holiday."(Last time they showed up 2 and a half hours late) Me: "They work a farm. Sometimes, it's like that." In my head: It's still rude. They can never be on time even when they don't have chickens. But holding my tongue. Biggest pet peeve. Never on time.

My mom got mad when I told her I would rather live on my own that keep paying her $600 a month in rent. I'm 25 years old and have been paying $60 a week in rent to my parents for a while now. I recently landed a decent paying job and this morning, I received a message from my mom telling me that from now on, the rent would be $150 per week. I text her back, saying I would rather live elsewhere. I pay for my own food and I'm not willing to pay $150 per week just for a room to sleep in at my own mothers house. With that kind if money, I could rent a small apartment or even split the rent with a friend for less.

$0.17 cents gross “profit” to fill a prescription!! This doesn’t even cover the cost of the bottle, label, and transmission fee. Even less if it’s an electronic RX - which we also have to pay a fee for. Then there are the REAL expenses to cover - Pharmacists Pharmacy techs Cashiers and support staff Rent Liability insurance Property insurance Health insurance for the employees Computer software and hardware fees IT costs Inventory Delivery vehicles and drivers Credit cared fees PBM Audit costs PBM recoupment costs And on and on and on 17 cents is a death sentence to your community pharmacy. It has been shown numerous times that they pay their own pharmacies well above this. Level the playing field.
KP, Pharm.D.@kpharmd12

Patient paying over $90 a month to have Part-D coverage through @SilverScriptPDP Needs an antibiotic filled for #28 tabs of doxycycline. “Insurance” contributes nothing. Full price of $1.61 copay for the patient. Leaving a $0.17 profit margin for the pharmacy to dispense, counsel, run interaction checks with other medications, pay overhead, pay staff, etc… Not going to cut it @SilverScriptPDP Why are people continuing to pay their premiums to these scam artists? Oh, because if you don’t carry Part D coverage, the government starts to penalize you every year that you don’t have coverage. We need better options for our seniors. This is utter bullshit.

How can every independent say the same exact thing in every state but the Pbms say it isn’t them? At what point is it about does anyone in our government actually help us? How much profits do they actually need? Why can’t anyone see that the real reason costs are high is the pbm?

Two back to back claims for two very different drugs: doxycycline and oxycodone. One claim from @SilverScriptPDP and one from @Aetna: Both plans under the thumb of @CVSHealth Except, in both claims they both have the exact same payment amounts. Both have patient co-pays of $1.61. Something is definitely off. Sounds strangely like a price fixing scheme to me.
