Watched Project Hail Mary with my wife tonight. The film knows what the heart of the book is and went all in on that aspect of the story. I think it was the right decision. I thought about taking off a half-star because there were a few things from the book I missed. I love the technical problem solving of an Andy Weir novel. However, if I’m being honest with myself, I’m not at all confident that adding more of the science stuff would have made it a better movie. Beautiful cinematography. This felt like a Film. And that means something these days. Grieg Fraser is a top three cinematographer. The movie had real charm, hope, and sincerity. My wife is absolutely not a sci-fi fan and loved it. That also means something. Loved it. 👎

NBC News is reporting this story: GenZers aren't necessarily trading alcohol for social media and drugs, they're going to the gym instead. I recently spoke to a high school student who told he quit drinking because he wants to look fit. He now works out out 6 days a week.

@seansgamedeux I started driving at age 10 out in the TX foothills during summer. My grandpa would let me drive the 10 or so miles into town.

So many Millenials didn’t start driving until they were into their twenties and it shows. Y’all suck at driving something awful
