A nice prefabricated Odido Ericsson set ready to be mounted at a site. Also with two new radio types of Ericsson. Radio 4485 for 4T4R 1800/2100/2600 and Radio 4486 for 4T4R 700/800/900. These new tri-band RRU’s are thinner than the 4T0R 1400MHz-only radio!

@PedroClarke1 @nokia Hi Peter, is EE using 2 massive MIMOs (3.4/3.6GHz) per sector for their C Band given the limited IBW/OBW of these Nokia units? Or it is just 1 because 2 sectors are in the same azimuth?

Nokia Massive MIMO 5G comes to Northern Ireland for the first time through a deployment from operator BT/EE, the country previously having solely Huawei and Ericsson for such equipment. Alongside C-Band Massive MIMO, BT/EE Nokia 5G also includes 2100MHz, 700MHz.

@PedroClarke1 Hey Peter, It looks like a CommScope 12 port antenna there with 3 RUs, single band 4T4R 2.1GHz, single band 4T4R 2.6GHz, and dual band 4T4R 800/900MHz for this site. For the monopole site you had in the YouTube video, would that also be the same configuration?

@Phonemast Why would you enable DSS at 800MHz when they only have 10MHz to begin with? Are you seeing other phantom 5G sites at 1800 and 2100?

More phantom Vodafoneuk 5G appearing on sites around me. Basically not actual 5G but 4G with upper layer signalling unrestricted. Basically imo 5G using DSS is being setup on many of my local sites but isn't available yet. please let me know if you witness this.

Another O2 site in Tunbridge Wells has gained L21 (LTE Band 1) and I am sure L23 can't be that far away now either as quite a few sites now have it.
