@RepThomasMassie all the “analysts” said the same about the tariffs when it first came out saying the inflation will skyrocket..Instead, it brought in billions in revenue! The stats are not accounting for the billions we’ll save by cutting out all the waste & fraud of our hard earned taxpayer money, which can then be used towards these tax cuts

@StatisticUrban Metric is simply more compatible with our overall number system since it's base-10, as opposed to the ridiculous mix of base numbers in Imperial which includes 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 16, etc. Conversion is a nightmare: 0.5 yards = 1.5 ft? 0.5 ft = 6 in? 0.5 lb = 8 oz?

It's insane to me that most Americans can't even comprehend metric units and Celsius without converting. I understand it's not the system used, but it IS the international system, used in all scientific fields and ~every other country. Useful to at least instill the basics.

What keyed it was English common law's doctrine that any baby born on the King's soil was a subject of the kingdom. Under your reading, none of those kids are citizens because their parents were immigrants and thus "loyal" to Ire. That's simply wrong.

@John85615578 @JonathanTurley And illegal aliens are subject to the “full jurisdiction” of the US. They can be arrested for crimes, they must pay taxes, they can be fined for misdemeanors, they can sue and be sued in US courts. They just can’t vote or sit on juries.
