@geoffschwartz Bad news is that they've gotten some decent bounces in their favor and some stops and some free throws.....but haven't cut in

Arizona just doesn’t have it right now. Missed a layup. Missed a follow up dunk… Michigan makes a 3 off the rebound. The 3 point difference is starting to show up

@WorldWideWob Would love if this stat existed for all players. For ages I have made fun of blocks that the defender swats into the 6th row by saying "keep it in play Dwight" because I associated this style with Dwight Howard. Maybe I'm wrong on that though and his #s would be average

What is the % of blocks by NBA players that don’t go out-of-bounds/retrieved by the defense? That # and how much lower it is than Wemby’s average is how you quantify the value of his rim protection. He is so good at keeping the ball in play.

@NFLosophy Two separate parallel discussions though - 1 is football online discourse about him, which has always been nauseating. 2 is the team itself trying to blame him for struggles. Which is obviously bad business and bad team building, but also fully ignorant given the success he's had

The thing about Jalen Hurts is that, fine, if you wanna say he’s not great… cool. But now how do you find someone that’s as good or better? That’s not an easy task.

@FB_FilmAnalysis It absolutely floors me whenever modern era fans try to diminish Shaq by saying "oh he's just big he was not skilled". Lol. No. Shaq especially 1995-2002 was an absurd athlete like we had never seen. The combination of size strength explosiveness. Absurdity.

@ZBerm @BKubena Any thought that he was aware of the criticism coming from the ESPN piece and wanted to make sure people didn't think it was coming from him?

“There’s no bigger fan of Jalen than me. ...I love everything about him.” Jeffrey Lurie's voice matters most in the Eagles' building, and he was emphatic about how he felt about Jalen Hurts this week. More from @BKubena: nytimes.com/athletic/71626…

@Nate_Tice The video is just tremendous content because you're watching and you're going, ok let's see the replay, I wonder how close he was to missing the bag and THEN you see the replay and the hitter could not have MORE of his foot hit the dead CENTER of the bag. Nobody could miss it

@denizselman33 The great news is, once all 30 cities have fancy domed stadiums we'll get ONE whole Super Bowl as hosts in that rotation before the stadium is deemed too old and needs to be replaced

MBN to be able to charge dedicated Eagles fans thousands of dollars each for stadium builder licenses to fund a domed stadium they don’t want so they can host Super Bowls and Final Fours. Why would any Eagles fan care about or want to host those events?
Zach Berman@ZBerm

What are the Eagles' future stadium plans? Get ready: This will be one of the biggest stories surrounding the franchise in the next 12-18 months. More here in @TheAthletic: nytimes.com/athletic/71442…

@MitchSchwartz71 Since the question posed doesn't say something stupid like "hit a home run" then the answer is definitely make contact. If you just blindly swing across the zone there exists at least a chance that the bat will hit the ball. It's slim but it's a matter of chance.

@BrandonGowton The downside of McDermott being fired is that I can no longer hope for a beat reporter to ask him to his face why he was a complete hypocrite about wanting the Tush Push banned last year

@FB_FilmAnalysis Would be wild if the Eagles added Moore, who is AJ's very good friend, just to then trade AJ. What timing.

Ian Rapoport@RapSheet

The #Eagles aren't done adding, signing WR Elijah Moore to a 1-year deal, source said. Still just 25 years old, Moore lands on his fourth team and is just a season removed from 100 targets with the #Browns.

@geoffschwartz They still have one of their starters on the floor with 1:40 left. Up by 70. Do they just only have 9 players dressed? What's the point?

@JohnMassingale4 @M3diaenjoyer @Brenardawg @Shane00 Yeah Robinson would've been awesome. I mean elite athlete. But he's already a top 50 player all time so it's not like a wild difference. OP's idea was that the actual skills and moves being shown on the court in a regular Tuesday game would've been considered absurd 30 yr ago

@M3diaenjoyer @Brenardawg @evankoch @Shane00 The role players would adjust their skills set. A lot of big men took up three point shooting. Ewing, Hakeem, Robinson, Duncan etc all would have become better shooters ….or just dominated today’s weak interior play with their elite interior play.

@JohnMassingale4 @M3diaenjoyer @Brenardawg @Shane00 I actually don't know what your point is. You started this by saying the league must not be very good because 3 players in their late 30s are still considered good. But it's not that he would've just ADJUSTED, I'm saying he would've grown up/developed different from day one

@JohnMassingale4 @M3diaenjoyer @Brenardawg @Shane00 He would probably be better today because he would have grown up and developed in an era which encouraged big men to be ball handlers and outside shooters. He probably would have developed more of a diverse skill set and a deeper shooting range

@Shane00 This is why players like LeBron, Durant, and Steph who came into the league in the 2000’s just can’t compete in their late 30’s early 40….oh wait
