I’ve banged on about this before, but this thing in hotel restaurants of a bill where service has been added and then a space left open for gratuities does drive me nuts. It’s completely avoidable. At least put a pen through it.

@jayrayner1 Service charge and a gratuity (tip) aren’t the same thing. Drives me nuts that restaurant critics don’t understand this. It says clearly on your bill that service charge has been included. Some customers like to leave a gratuity (tip) in addition to the service charge.
