Strategies STRC product is not "tax-free," it's tax deferred. Similar to a 401k but via different means. Example; - You own $1m of STRC - The dividend yield is ~10% - You receive ~$100k each year in dividends - You do not have to pay up front tax on these dividends as they are a 'return of capital' not proceeds. - After ~10 years you have made ~$1m in dividends and your cost basis is now $0 - All your capital has been "returned." - You will now be charged cap gains on future dividend payments - You will also be charged cap gains on a sale of STRC with a cost basis of zero. - If you sell the entire position, you will owe ~$200k in cap gains tax (or whatever your state + federal bracket is) Not tax free, tax deferred. @BritishHodl I'd love to see your calculations for this current $5M BTC value . According to my projections, at 1 BTC = $5M, 1 $MSTR would almost be worth 1 BTC with a conservative 1.5x MNAV.

Bitcoin is a $5m asset currently selling for $117,000. The problem is, they don't understand it. If I had a house, worth $5m, and I sold it for $117,000 - I could sell it 100 times over and they'd be lining up around the corner and they'd find the money. This is you if you didn't get to ONE Bitcoin by now.
