The province is moving to take control of Billy Bishop Airport — including the potential use of city land like Little Norway Park. This overrides Toronto’s role and local decision-making. Just because the province can do it doesn’t mean it should. Legal doesn’t mean right.

@gluetaster 1/ I know you care about bikes but that's not feasible in North America because suburbs drive a lot of the economy of downtowns (unlike Europe/Asia.) I'll bet quite a number of major employers/sports teams/etc will move to the suburbs ( like in many US cities.)

@gluetaster @LeftJab4 You shouldn't have to leave. That solution stops being one anyway. We left Toronto for Oshawa in 2004 for cheaper homes. New homes are advertised in the "low millions" now. The system is exploitation on top of exploitation and you can't outrun it. They need to fix housing.
