@rationalaussie It means our gas prices are going up and even more of our gas is going to be shipped elsewhere and we STILL won't get any royalties for it. That's all.

@elonmusk @diana_dukic Global politics. It's all so damn depressing watching so much stupidity unravel in such a condensed fashion.

@OzGunner38 @mattjcan It's all good. It was abundantly clear that the country has been run by complete idiots for the last 20+ years. Should be pretty easy to put together a policy statement that wins an election. Trick is holding the liars to it.

It's pretty simple. If we had drill for oil we wouldn't have an oil crisis, and petrol prices would not be as high as they are. One of Australia's most prospective offshore oil basins lies off the South Australian coastline in the Great Australian Bight. For years I fought the left-wing activists to open up the basin for all Australians. A Bight oil industry would provide 1000s of jobs, raise billions in taxes and ensure Australians aren't force to ration the fuel we import from overseas. That's why today The Nationals, with our mates in South Australia, are announcing ahead of tomorrow's state election we will DRILL, BABY DRILL to deliver CHEAP and RELIABLE fuel to Australians. Unless we open new oil basins like the Bight, we will always be at the mercy of unstable regions and international conflicts. Our petrol and diesel shortages are a choice. A choice not to develop our own resources. We need to unleash a hyper Australia. An Australia that develops our God given resources to lower prices and restore our living standards. More in the Adelaide Advertiser below.

@mattjcan Lets be honest here though. If we had oil rigs drilling, they would be owned by foreign companies and they would be making a killing selling our oil to Asia. It wouldn't be for us. Like our gas. Not with the current Net Zero policies.

@uncledoomer Well… she’s lying. Very first sentence. Therapists don’t diagnose people they haven’t met. She’s telling a narrative people believe so she can get likes and make money off it.

@uncledoomer Not all of us. Shame she didn't speak to a male counsellor. Discussing a client with my female supervisor, and giving very little detail, resulted in an immediate "has she thought of leaving him!". Literally the first thing said. Shocked me.

@AvidCommentator If you mean "the west", we have created our own energy and economic crisis chasing net zero. Some countries are just further ahead. Europe can't help because they are trying to tie their economies to China.

I am aware of the theory that Trump is attempting to take Iranian oil off the table for China. But realistically is it worth alienating most of the developed world with a totally avoidable energy and economic crisis, followed by a famine in places if the war continues long term

@RennickGBR Seems like Iran has a gun to the head of the world. Outside of that, the population of Iran actually want to be liberated, unlike previous wars in other middle eastern countries.

The people of the United States didn’t ask for this war and don’t want this war. This war was started by Israel and the Deep State. This war is not in the best interests of the U.S. or Australian people. It risks destabilising the global order and plays into Chinas hands. It is going to unleash immense poverty and suffering on hard working Australians and the global economy. Why is Pauline Hanson doing the bidding of the Deep State and Israel? What Israel did today in bombing the worlds biggest gas field shows they don’t give a rats about the rest of the world - this war is going to unleash a credit and energy crunch that will impoverish us all - remember it was the Rothschilds who created Israel - they are going to do to the USA what they did to Germany in WW1 and Great Britain in WW11 - bankrupt them through unsustainable debt. ndtv.com/world-news/my-… I thought One Nation was against foreign influence. Yet here we are. We need cool heads calling for de escalation not belligerent rhetoric.

Pauline Hanson calls for Australia to help Donald Trump “stamp out evil” by entering the conflict with Iran, just days after the President accused America's allies of refusing to provide assistance. skynews.com.au/australia-news…

If your dream is to become a government bureaucrat one day, let me give you the 101: Every time there is a demand problem, blame it on supply. And every time there is a supply problem, blame it on demand. For example, you import 1.3 million immigrants over a few years. You might think, 'yep, that's a demand problem for the housing market, infrastructure and essential services - too many people, too quickly'. But you would be wrong. It's actually a supply problem. Why? Because that benefits you politically. Let's do one more example before you're ready to enter your first role as a government slop slinger. A war breaks out in the Middle East and Iran blocks the Strait of Hormuz, disrupting all shipping through the Strait. Is that a demand problem or a supply problem? You guessed it! Demand! You see, it doesn't matter that there is no supply flowing, nor does it matter that physical oil and gas facilities are being blown to smithereens - it is a demand problem because people should simply learn to live with less. Congratulations, you are now ready to become an Australian politician. Any questions?

The situation here in Denmark: The tax burden is already the second highest in the world. Now they want to introduce a new wealth tax, that in some cases will give a tax rate of above 100% This is partly to pay the $15,000+ that each Muslim immigrant costs on average every year.

@LarueLaws6 @MikeBenzCyber yeh I think that is a government funded human organ trafficking operation - the speed and finality of the decision making is utterly beyond the scope of any possible ethical medical policy. It's criminal for sure.

@AvidCommentator if something isn't "finalized", the Iranian people are left terrorized, drone manufacturing gets dialed up to 11, and Iran has demonstrated that it holds the world hostage because the west is lead by cowards. Kinda lose lose.

@TheJawnzz Having someone as incompetent as Labor at the helm just screwing up things on the daily absent crisis is one thing. Add crisis to that equation and you really have to wonder how bad it might get. They have no plan at all but I expect WFH notices to come next.

@RepMikeCollins what is the point though do you think? Lower paid drivers or is there a shortage? Surely the risk doesn't warrant low pay when lives are at risk.

I’ve been a trucker for 40 years, I always have my CDL in my pocket. I know what it takes to get a CDL and what it takes to be a trucker. These so-called “instructors” don’t, and they’re handing 80,000 pound trucks to anyone with a pulse. Truckers stand with Dalilah’s Law.
