@hopper @WestJet I bought WestJet tickets with the wrong date, noticed the issue 10 mins later and cancelled in the Hopper app. One flight got refunded, the other didn’t. Hopper says WestJet denied it, but as per WJ terms and conditions, cancellations within 24h of booking are fully refunded.

@WestJet Thank you for denying my full cancellation refund for a booking that I cancelled within 1h after noticing a date mistake. You can tell me all day long to contact @hopper directly but they say they’re bound by your policy - which states I have the right to a refund

@hopper keeps saying they can’t refund me because @WestJet denied their request. As per WestJet flight terms and conditions, I’m entitled to a refund because I requested the cancellation within 24h and the departure date is not within 24h. I feel misled and lied to as a consumer

Disappointed with @hopper and @WestJet. Got flight tickets from Toronto to the UK and back home last Sunday. Accidentally, selected the wrong month. A silly mistake that I spotted minutes after. Contacted Hopper. One flight got a refund approved, the other didn’t. Both in June.

@hopper Over two hours on hold and $250 gone because the customer service reps won’t listen. Thanks for no help at all. Deleting the app and warning everyone to not ever use hopper again. BBB getting a phone call for sure.

@hopper seems like there is big fraud or glitch going on between you and Capitalone travel portal. I am not getting my money back even though airline refunded money.

What I forgot to add was that I have made 18 phone calls. The official airline has given me a receipt for the refund but this sucky third party app refuses to send me the money when their policy clearly states that cancellation charge Is 250$ only @hopper why do you lie ?

Hopper is THE WORST Booked a flight with a naming mistake through hopper, on calling to change it they told me to cancel the ticket and rebook(250$) . On rebooking, app support said can’t book on another name. Now another rep says can’t give any refund! WTH is going on? @hopper

Then, they wanted to blame it on me, saying I was the one who misunderstood. That, when I selected Seat 21C in the option list THEY GAVE ME, it didn’t mean I was getting seat 21C.

Did you know if you book a flight through Capital One’s Travel Portal, pay extra for a seat and select a seat that it doesn’t mean you’re paying for that seat you selected? According to them, it just means you paid for the OPPORTUNITY to select a seat. @CapitalOne @hopper
