Since a some people have asked, this is what a @Humanscale Freedom with headrest looks like. I had been a little concerned that the leather could be slippery, but didn't need to worry. Very comfortable, adjustable, and perfect for my purposes. #amwriting #histfic #writeroffice

I bought a @humanscale chair about 15 years ago. It was second hand already. Yet it is still going strong. Now the gas strut is a bit less efficient, and it doesn't go up so easily ... So I started looking at replacements. Boy, are comfortable, flexible chairs expensive!

My chair died today, after close to 15 years it had enough. Good chair though, @humanscale makes good hardware. And now his watch has ended.

@MrCladding Appreciate the feedback! Are you trying to raise the armrests to match your desk height? It's common, but it can actually lead to shoulder strain. Armrests should sit just below your elbows when your shoulders are relaxed. Does this help?

@humanscale Yes. We all know they are adjustable however they do not go high enough to be usual ergonomically speaking. It appears design has triumphed over practically and comfort for the consumer.

@humanscale Hey welcome back to Twitter X... I do have a ticket but took over a week to ship replacements parts. Set arrived and of course this happened. I have reached out via email and it is underway to resolve. As soon as I get the correct parts in and done I'll post update.

Hey ⁦⁦@humanscale⁩ I paid over $300 for a replacement seat and arms pads for my $1500 chair. You think they could have matched in color? I requested black and seat was black but arm pads are grey. Ugh DM me please. Also it took over a week before they even shipped.

my absolute favorite part of today is when my stupid expensive chair up and broke on me. Armrest just snapped off. Maybe not @humanscale next time. Any BIFL ergo chair models with a head rest?
