@stalman Out of interest, are you concerned with transfer time, editing overheads, storage size/cost, or just that it feels wasteful?

I wish cameras would offer more compression ratios for raw photos. A lot of the time I’m not worried about fine artifacts as long as I have all my dynamic range and WB flexibility

@sdw Very cool! I wish that Smart Albums from MacOS Photos were supported on iOS Photos - that would add a whole dimension of flexibility.

did you know that in Photos, albums can have folders with sub albums? So 2022 is a folder with sub albums and so forth. it’s great 👍
