@zukosmadre Suki, you argue that people in Eastern Ukraine "voted to join Russia". This is wrong. Those Russian-run referenda were obvious shams. For example: In Donetsk, Russia absurdly claims that 99% of people voted for annexation. In reality, every poll for a decade showed 45% or less:
