Connectionism will cover topics as varied as our research is: from kernel numerics to prompt engineering. Here we share what we are working on and connect with the research community frequently and openly. Dear friends, Today, I am so excited to share our Studio’s groundbreaking project, the Large Nature Model - the world’s first open-source, generative AI model focused on Nature. This model, built from an extensive, ethically sourced natural world dataset, is central to our ambitious DATALAND project. DATALAND is a unique museum and Web3 platform dedicated to data visualization and AI art. It’s a collaborative effort, bringing together pioneers in diverse fields including the arts, scientific researchers, institutional archives, and advanced technology under the artistic leadership of Refik Anadol Studio. Here at the World Economic Forum, we’re presenting “Living Archive: Nature,” an installation featuring the Large Nature Model’s early artistic experimentations based on the Large Nature Model, blending visuals, sound, and scent. These initial explorations will continue to evolve into large-scale artworks and exhibitions, starting with our first solo show next month at Serpentine in London! @jonofyi I have! Some really amazing tech. They've essentially solved the other side of the coin. I can do amazing AI operations in this, in the format that I'd like, but I'm still waiting for feature parity on plugins and the parts of a DAW I use when I need to take over and drive.

As I use more AI tools, the more I don't want AI tools that magically output the answer. I want AI tools that drive my tools for me so I can interrupt it at any point and fix anything it does wrong. Create the thing piece by piece so I can course-correct as necessary.

I don't want a song AI that generates a finished song. It's not going to get it right. Instead, create each track in Ableton Live so I can pause and adjust as I go. Having to reprompt is slow / incredibly annoying. Especially when good parts of the original answer are thrown out.

Attention to details is crucial, especially when it comes to interactions. 👇🏼Here's a little breakdown of the keyboard interaction and visual feedback in visionOS. 1. Look at how the keys get highlighted when hovering with the fingers over them. ❤️ 2. Pressing a key pushes it downwards on the Z axsis. 3. Additionally a little circular pulse expands outwards for visual confirmation. Just looking at this is so satisfying, but typing in Vision Pro must be another level of satisfaction.

@morflax_com, having trouble with the GLTF exporter. Left: Morflax, Right: Three.js Editor Lights don't seem to affect the materials and it *looks* like in the Three.js editor that they are the default MeshPhysicalMaterial properties. Any tips?
