The whole of Ibo land is the same landmass as Oyo State. They have 5 governors, about 100 local government chairmen, about 50 House of Representatives members and senators, and several state assembly members and they all collect allocation. I know some of you won’t understand what I wrote up there, so I will break it down for you all. Imagine Oyo State having 5 governors, 100 local government chairmen, 50 House of Representatives members, 10 senators, and collecting the revenue of 5 states. And yet Oyo State is much more developed than the entire Ibo land, but you will let someone from such a place come and dictate to you what good governance is… Okay na.
