@DPJHodges Absolutely Dan. We are amazed that people seem ignorant to what’s actually happening here. It’s like slo-mo replay of the WWII buildup, and “allies” who choose to hide behind rhetoric, have already chosen to be on the side of the perpetrators.

I've read just about every book there is about the 1930's and the prelude to the Second World War. I still found it hard to understand how we'd allowed ourselves to let appeasement of Hitler dictate our policy. Watching people in the UK still trying to defend and legitimise Trump and attack Zelensky after what we saw yesterday makes me finally understand. There were traitors in our midst then. And there are traitors in our midst now.

Zelensky sussed it was a set up - two on one (plus the inane media comments “why don’t you wear a suit?”. He had to defend himself.

Let’s put it another way: if WWII was a case of “before we get involved, what minerals do Poland have, and can they repay us?” where would we be now?

Could Trump be jealous of the admiration Zelensky draws? That was a shocking interaction and looked like intentional bullying to me.
