Tom Rogers to join the Ospreys 🖤 The Ospreys announced today that Tom Rogers would be leaving the Scarlets to join the club at the end of the season. Rogers has made 88 appearances for the Scarlets and 13 appearances for Wales, scoring 26 tries overall up to this point in his career. Perhaps one of his most famous try scoring games was in Wales’ autumn fixture against New Zealand, in which he became just the fourth player in history to score a hat-trick against the All Blacks. Ospreys can build a case for the west license now. Lets not forget Dave Reddin originally stated he wanted rugby in the two largest cities Cardiff and Swansea. Dragons are profitable and signed PRA25. Without the PRA25 signed, it's twitchy bum time for the Scarlets now.

@RobSimons78 @stephenjones9 This is it. The Welsh regions aren't being blown away every match, even the Dragons have managed to shake that. And they're competitive in a lot of matches. You don't need to be winning in Europe to have a successful national side, we've proven that half a dozen times over.

Reddin has been anonymous for months. So was this interview (and the longer one on Scrum V podcast) planned win or lose? Or has he popped up because we won? What strikes me is the arrogance of Reddin and rest of WRU board with their it’s Plan A 3 teams and no plan B. Despite the majority of the Welsh rugby supporters, politicians, ex players etc all disagreeing. The WRU board are temporary. They are meant to be looking after Welsh rugby for the future. It’s their actual job to listen to the people who support Welsh rugby and find a plan that works for everyone. Yet they ignore the views of the people who pay their wages. Time to go Mr Reddin, Abi and RCK. Now.

Throughout the last couple of months I’ve always held a glimmer of hope that we’d be okay, but that’s gone after reading the minutes from the Swansea Council meeting. The WRU won’t budge on 3 teams and our owners and CEO are working against us. Think it’s over unfortunately.
