I mean, it's only 7x safer than humans with a large number of caveats, lol. For example, only comparing crashes in Teslas severe enough to deploy the airbags, to *all* crashes caused by people, even if it was only a slight tap that resulted in minor panel damage or a scratch down to the base metal, etc. It's also funny that Tesla relies on comparing their brand new cars to the “average” American car, because the “average” American car is something like 12 years old, and doesn't come with basic safety features that are common on nearly all new cars now, like automatic emergency braking, land keeping and changing assists. If tesla had to compare its models to other 2025/26 year models it'd do a *lot* worse.

New information about @Tesla's Cybercab has been revealed in public EPA documents. • Front-wheel drive • Battery capacity: ~48 kWh • 219 horsepower • Curb weight: 3,113 lbs • GVWR: 3,730 lbs • Motor power: 163kW • Voltage: 326v Equivalent All Electric Range is listed at 418 miles, with 375 miles of highway range, but the final EPA range rating is usually a decent bit lower.
