Today, I attended a Thanksgiving celebration in Korrompoi Empatipat Village, Kajiado East, honoring my former colleague, Mr. Nicholas Soikan, alongside leaders, professionals, and the community.

Kwakwa alisifu na kupongeza ushirikiano uliopo kati ya Tanzania na Benki hiyo na kwamba Tanzania imekuwa nchi inayofanya vizuri kiuchumi kati ya nchi nyingi za Kusini mwa Jangwa la Sahara na ni mnufaika mkubwa wa programu mbalimbali zinazoendeshwa na Shirika hilo kubwa la Fedha duniani.

Mapema Leo tumefanya kikao na Makamu wa Rais wa Benki ya Dunia, Bi @VictoriaKwakwa , tumejadiliana masuala ya kuboresha ushirikiano wetu na Benki hiyo kwajili ya Maendeleo ya nchi yetu. Benki ya Dunia wametupongeza namna Tanzania imekuwa nchi inayofanya vizuri kiuchumi kati ya nchi nyingi za Kusini mwa Jangwa la Sahara.

H. E President William Ruto today launched the Long Term Low Emissions Development Strategy (LT-LEDS), National Climate Change Action Plan 2023-2027 (NCCAP), Climate Change (Amendment) Act & Financing Locally Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) at the sidelines of the ongoing #ACS23

H.E President Republic of Kenya, Dr. @WilliamsRuto has today issued KSh7.2 billion ($49.7 million) to counties in the form of county climate change investment grants which, together with KSh3 billion ($20.7 million) of county own-resource allocations will finance local climate action priorities in agriculture, water and natural resources management in every county. All happening at #ACS23 where actions will drive the summit. #AfricaClimateSummit23
