also I used to pack my slideshows with memes and visuals and graphics and such, but somehow in [current year] that doesn't seem like a good use of my time

I bet the dedicated tools for using AI to generate powerpoints are pretty good, but out-of-the-box ChatGPT and Claude I could only get to produce mediocre / unappealing presentations
(their pptx generation processes are opaque enough that I couldn't see how to optimize)
