We hear how the NHS is short of beds. Why don’t managers put more in?

🔴 The majority of hospitals are not protected by the Government’s emergency power plan, The Telegraph has learned #Echobox=1671051000-1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/…

Today, 100,000 nurses take part in the biggest strike in NHS history. Their fight is a fight to save the health service. tribunemag.co.uk/2022/10/nurses…

Ironic to see the clamber today from government & chief nursing officers regarding strike derogation and the need for safe staffing in specific areas - on most days, in many clinical areas, unsafe levels of staffing & the resultant suboptimal care are tolerated as the norm.

We lead by example. Drs & Nurses would strongly advise against handing out your own drugs to friends & family. Most have seen A&E admissions, addiction and worse due to this. Very open to more professionals trained to prescribe. Atm we need leaders fit to govern. @doctor_oxford
