@2024dion Kansas City is one of the worst cities I’ve seen in this regard. The lack of transplants removes the incentives and the sprawl complicates the logistics. Really just not much of a feel for these events unless there’s a professional lean. Not something that fixes itself overnight

@sethdowdle It’s bc they truly embraced their identity. I think comparatively it was actually one of our lesser talented rosters but they stayed true to their strengths which our last few groups failed to do. Besides the Colorado game it felt like it was the same team out there every game

For some reason -- I still haven't exactly been able to figure out why -- this TCU men's basketball team feels like it's going to stick in my memory for a long time. It was a such a fun season, one I'm sad is over.

Cool interaction. Don’t totally agree with everything @QuintonLucasKC has done in KC but very rarely do you see tier-1 mayors get this street-level with folks leading the charge in housing & urban revitalization like @molzer. Other cities should take notes!

Horrible officiating that’s marred what was a great game for 30 minutes. The reality now is the game is over. A real shame. @DukeMBB is the better team, but @TCUBasketball deserved better. Just a horrible end result the Frogs best interior player gone for good. I don’t care who wins I really don’t but this games control was lost by the officials.

Having lived in KC & CLT, this just ruined my night. Creates so many nightmares: rush hour exit traffic (on/off ramps), segmented neighborhoods by default, disjointed “rhythm” to downtown feel, awkward armpit districts that have constrained access, blinded sharp-yielding turns..

haha i fucking love this. it’s like rollercoaster tycoon on steroids.
- this game lets you build and operate a multi billion dollar ai data center
- everything from ordering in GPUs, setting up server racks, electricals etc - is simulated to represent what it’s actually like to run one of these things.
- coolest part is you indirectly LEARN SICK SKILLS (strategy, operations, technical knowledge) while having the time of your life
- now imagine robots in the future trained on something like this…. that future isn’t too far off with optimus, figure, unitree etc.

there is a game called "data center" on steam which let's you build and manage your own data center. this is lowkey genius, the best way to educate people on a new trait. hyperscalers should learn a thing or two from "edutainment".
