“With this war, I believe the president has done a great service to humanity by curtailing and containing Iran's nuclear ambitions. The combination of the strikes on their nuclear facilities last year, this strike or this war this year has set back Iran's nuclear ambitions by years, if not a decade or more. And a nuclear-free Middle East is really important both to regional security and ultimately to the security of Western countries, Europe or the United States, which could be impacted by a nuclear warhead in the wrong hands. And I think we should be very thankful that the president has really worked hard to contain the nuclear ambitions of the Iranians”
EISEN: And yet it is so unpopular in this country.
GRIFFIN: I don't think the president has really made his case to the American people properly, that this is about not only regional stability in the Middle East, which has important ramifications for the entire world, but is also important to Western society's safety. He should have made that case, I think, much more aggressively, much more publicly at the start of or before the start of this round of escalation with Iran.

Norah O’Donnell may have reached the low point in disgusting and inhumane demagoguery disguised as journalism. The idea that you would take the vicious dishonest and disgusting words of a woukld be killer who had been blocked b y the Secret Service but would otherwise have killed a lot of people and you would dignify them by putting them on the air and asking the President of the United States to comment is about as destructive as anything a major reporter has done in a long time. No. Some of us remember quite clearly that inflation was a global problem during and after the pandemic caused by supply chain disruptions, and the Ukraine War screwing up food and energy prices. Demand for nearly everything shot back too quickly which caused prices to spike.

Thats the other thing: Real wages were abysmal while inflation soared. @PeteButtigieg and the @JoeBiden Admin presided over one of the great transfers of wealth in recent history. Inflation and elevated prices crushed the working class (its a regressive tax, which the lefties might know if they took econ 101). Rich people did just fine speculating with financial assets that exploded in value because of all the fiscal and monetary liquidity
