This is how you hunt chipmunks when you have no idea where your paws are.

We were disturbed but not shocked by Ontario MPP @MacLeodLisa who raised concerns that it was an “egregious incident” that required “disciplinary measures” for a Remembrance Day service to include a song in Arabic. People are now saying the quiet part aloud: it is entirely preposterous to suggest that speaking a language like Arabic is tantamount to hate. This is the same province where only a few years ago a family was run over in London for looking different. This is also coming from an elected official who remains best known for her argument that the autism parent community are “professional protesters” and was demoted from her ministry as a result. This recent statement is utterly unacceptable. @fordnation

@TSNSteveLloyd That last death surprised me for a bit but I guess it's in character after thinking on it.

So, The Penguin. Brilliant, but maybe the darkest show I’ve ever seen. Wow.

Now that people think wokeness is on the wane, DEI is falling out of fashion, and identity politics has suffered a massive electoral failure, it's getting more mainstream to suggest that critical theory and its offspring are not only wrong, but harmful. That can't come soon enough. But as it does, let's not forget those who paved the way with, and even suffered consequences for, their moral clarity. Thinking especially of @jamiljivani.

@OtownSensFan Glad I haven't totally lost it and am glad that you still enjoy the frustrations that are the Sens. Those that package programming deserve a special place in hell

@pvanrens I did, it's been 3 years. It just irks me, you know? I have the "sports package" and can't watch the sport I enjoy, it's annoying.

Spoke to @cbcmarketplace, and they asked how to easily explain why food prices are higher in Canada. My response? "Well, you're CBC, obviously you'll blame grocers since it's the easiest, most convenient approach. It's not accurate, but it seems to work. Call @JimboStanford."

While the forest canopy has lost many leaves, the understory layer is more protected from winds & retains leaves longer. Blustery winds today will add to the October chill. It’s -2° now. W/c -6. High 7° w/skies turning cloudy w/a ☔️possible. Wind ⬆️20-40+. Low -4° #ottawa #ONwx

@robertbenzie @cityoftoronto @OntarioPCParty @StatCan_eng I am all for the safety of bicyclists but many of these bike lanes are forced onto roads that were designed for a couple of lanes of traffic, parking and sidewalks. Ramming in bike lanes makes it more dangerous for everyone including the cyclists.
