Got my UK visa yesterday, and honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised at how smooth and fast the entire process was. I started filling the application on 17th March, submitted it on 19th March, had my biometric appointment on 24th March, and received the visa on 2nd April. The whole experience felt so simple that I actually started worrying I might have missed something or done something wrong. Turns out, the anxiety was completely unnecessary. When applying for #SchengenVisa many times travelers book stay at hotels which are close to the airport or airport hotels. Ideally not the best option as to commute to the city daily for side seeing etc is a cost and also time consuming. Also this may lead to the visa officer thinking you'll land in XYZ country and then take off somewhere else in Schengen and are visa shopping hence the stay near the airport. Airport hotels are cheaper and travelers also book to save money or they maybe getting a good value for their points etc. When applying for the #SchengenVisa a small line/detail of the same if added can help make the visa officer understand the reason for you booking the hotel near the airport and not the city. Part of my checks I flagged this to a family of 4 applying with #Switzerland. They gave a genuine reason, and the same was added in the cover letter. Small detail but why risk when can explain the valid reason for the visa officer. Visa approved. #DakuKiPathshala
