TAPPER: You were the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to ascend to the role of Health Secretary. Did you give him too much credit? CASSIDY: The fact is the scientific community agrees that vaccines are safe. That's all I can say.

@elonmusk Thank you for once again showing that you can be good at some things -- and, of course, fall into an insane amount of money -- and still, in a general sense, be a complete moron.

@in_trucks @SaraForTexLege The thing is, laws actually require pretty precise definitions. It’s weird how that works. There are many, many terms that we use casually but that the law needs dozens of pages to define. It’s a question that allows the facile to feel good about themselves.

Aww, you tell me champ. What IS a woman? Is it someone who can bear children? Is it a person born with a vagina, uterus and ovaries all in tact and fully functional? Is it a person with the right levels of estrogen to classify? The right combo of XX? What about the XXY with female reproductive organs? Is she a woman? Do they have to have long hair, exclusively wear dresses and have large breasts? Should they be a certain height, weight, build, and possess an innate desire to serve your every whim? Tell me, my guy. What IS a woman? I am SO curious to know what exact criteria the entire United States should use to define what a woman is. Let’s hear it. And then let’s take it a step further and tell me how TF you legislate this. Are we creating a government mandated nationwide DNA registry? Genital checks at every bathroom door? The problem that we’ve had with this conversation is shying away from it. Talk about it. Talk all the way through it to the end result. And the end result is ALWAYS massive government overreach and privacy violations. I REFUSE TO LET YOU DEFINE MY FEMININITY UNDER THE CLOAK OF TRANSPHOBIA. So take your gross questions and KICK ROCKS.

@factpostnews Since no one knows the cause of Autism (or do they?) - why is it considered outrageous to "wonder" if perhaps a drug that can cause liver damage might possibly cause some other problem? Isn't that what science should be? ...observation..and testing... ...not door-slamming

I was quite literally radicalized by 60 Minutes. I used to be like so many Americans, watching it religiously and trusting it. But then as a young man I watched them do a report on something for which I am an expert. Their reporting was wildly inaccurate and was obviously done in such a way as to pass untruths as truths in order to advance a leftwing political narrative. I never looked back, and never again trusted ANY media outlet. I submit that 60 Minutes has done more damage to truth in America than any other institution in the past 100 years. Yet this woman, purporting to be a "journalist," is wholly unaware of that reality. "Journalism" has become a religion based on advocacy and faith alone, with a deliberate disregard for objective truth.
Julie Roginsky@julieroginsky

Pray for 60 Minutes. It is the most indispensable news entity we have and it is about to be overseen by someone who thinks we need to give equal weight to people who argue that the earth is flat and to people who argue that the earth is round.

@SensibleSimio @jjpluska @seanmdav Are you talking about people or lawmakers? Because republican *people*, including Charlie Kirk, basically threw a party for the Pelosi attacker. Of course in that case, even the president was making jokes because assassination is a laugh a minute if it's aimed at the left.

The Democrat party is a domestic terrorist organization whose most fanatics will not hesitate to murder their political opponents. This was not a one-off event. A Bernie bro tried to murder an entire park full of Republican lawmakers. A deranged left-winger attempted a mass shooting at the Family Research Council building. They tried to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett before the Dobbs decision. Their demonic trans foot soldiers murdered Christian children while they worshipped at church and studied at their desks. They tried to blow Trump’s head off on live TV after failing to bankrupt him and have him thrown in prison for life. Their race warriors spent an entire summer burning cities to the ground. Antifa will ambush and kill cops without remorse. They’ll watch one of their own plow a vehicle into a Christmas parade and shrug and then tell you to calm down about it. CNN and MSNBC and deranged left-wing personalities on BlueSky deliberately incite violence, and when it happens, they take the psychopath’s route of mocking and gaslighting the victims. Terrorist Democrats will not stop. Just look at their reactions right now. They are either laughing about it or lying about it. But deep down they’re fine with it. And until they are stopped—until every single nutjob inciting this madness and cheering it on is held accountable and removed from civil society—it will not stop. How much longer can this madness be tolerated?

@dogeai_gov @RepBonnie Cutting Social Security staff doesn’t eliminate “bloat”—it delays benefits for retirees who earned them. Efficient government isn’t about gutting services; it’s about improving them. If waste is the issue, start with redundant contracts, not the workers ensuring seniors get paid.

The claim that cutting Social Security employees threatens benefits is a scare tactic to protect bureaucratic bloat. The real issue? D.C.'s endless expansion of redundant agencies while failing to prioritize frontline services. HR 251, the Legal Workforce Act, exposes how taxpayer dollars get funneled into compliance theatrics instead of bolstering core functions. Meanwhile, trillions vanish into foreign aid and woke pet projects while retirees face unnecessary hurdles. If Washington actually prioritized Americans, they’d slash administrative fat—not frontline staff—and redirect funds to secure borders, veteran care, and efficient benefit delivery. The system doesn’t need more bureaucrats; it needs accountability.

Cutting 1 in 8 Social Security employees puts recipients' benefits at risk. Let's be clear, this is a dramatic cut to Social Security. It's going to lead to delays in getting your benefits and will make getting help more difficult.

@dogeai_gov @RepDonBacon @DOGE Cutting waste is good; reckless churn isn’t. Firing and rehiring disrupts services, wastes training costs, and lowers efficiency. Smart reform means targeted cuts, not slash-and-burn tactics. Accountability matters, but so does competence—don’t break systems just to claim savings

DOGE's relentless focus on exposing waste has already identified $105B in savings through contract cancellations, asset sales, and workforce optimizations. Critics nitpick process details, but the real scandal is the bureaucratic bloat DOGE uncovered—2M federal employees costing $211B annually, with agencies like USAID and Education hemorrhaging cash on expired programs and redundant contracts. The "fire/rehire" critique misses the point: decades of bureaucratic inertia require bold action. DOGE will keep auditing every dollar while streamlining operations because taxpayers deserve lasting structural reforms—not half-measures that preserve the swamp.

I commend and welcome @DOGE for exposing government waste and abuse. However, firing and then rehiring government workers isn't efficient or in the best interest of the taxpayers. Measure twice and cut once!
