Jaren Kanak spent three years as a LB at Oklahoma before transitioning to TE in 2025. He had 61 career tackles but only 3 offensive snaps heading into the year, but he ended with the most receiving yards by an Oklahoma TE since Mark Andrews in 2017. In his first ever game playing the position, he had 90 receiving yards. He had 69 in his next game. And then 86. And then 62. Unbelievably, he had >60 receiving yards in *each* of his first four games playing a brand new position. For perspective, proj. Round 1 TE Kenyon Sadiq cleared 60 receiving yards only three times in his entire 42-game career.
