Another great one: write two groups of co-workers’ names on a random whiteboard. Circle one group and put an X through it. Walk away. h/t @johndilworth for that one.

If you’re bored at work today just create a resignation letter for someone you dislike and leave it in the printer.

Compared to the top humanitarian aid providers on the planet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led all faith-based donors and provided more in total expenditures than the EU and the United States.
This table shows the Church ranking 7th in total expenditures provided among all entities of the world.

@EricLDaugh He is a Mormon? That is not Christianity.

🚨 BREAKING: Incredible moment as Nick Shirley reveals his Christian faith ensures he does the right thing
"Even when I went on my mission trip, I was still making videos interviewing people about Jesus in Spanish."
"I had returned back from a two-year mission for my church and I had zero dollars. So I when I came home back from that trip, I worked for an entire month I power washed houses and my goal was to make ten thousand dollars in cash."
"Then I then took that ten thousand dollars in cash and use that to funnel my YouTube channel for the first three months until I could actually make a profit."
"More so than anything [my faith] kept me on the straight and narrow and it's kept me on a good path." @nickshirleyy 🙏🏻

@EricLDaugh @RealTStevenson Nick is great, but Mormons are not Christians.

@EricLDaugh Thankful for Nick’s work, but Mormonism is not Christianity.

@KennedyTomwk2 @gwowls It doesn’t need to confuse you when you realize that we’ve only uncovered less than 2% of all archeology in North and South America.

Almost all Mormons that I know or worked with are salt of the earth family oriented pillars of the community.
However:
Academic historians and archaeologists (outside LDS institutions) regard the Book of Mormon as a 19th-century religious text, not a literal ancient record, since:
•Its place names don’t align with known pre-Columbian geography.
•There’s no archaeological evidence of the Nephite or Lamanite civilizations as described.
•Linguistic, genetic, and cultural evidence from ancient America doesn’t match the Book of Mormon narrative.
This confuses me

@paripasu220 @scottWedge5 As someone who has openly explored all aspects of our faith including all the anti-Mormon arguments in good faith, I’d be happy to answer any question you have. Feel free to DM me.

I just had an alarming conversation with a man who lets the local Stakes bring their young men to his mountain ranch to have a place to experience the outdoors, camp, hike, do archery, etc.
He’s had 3-4 groups this summer and told me that the young men know nothing about camping. They don’t want to work. They only made it 3/4 of the way on a 1.5-mile hike to a small lake because it was “too hard.” They don’t know how to communicate. All they want is to play video games and be on their phone. They are afraid of everything and have very little confidence.
The loss of the Scouting Program has had devastating consequences for our young men.
I know the Church is working on its own program, and COVID had a negative effect on everything, including their progress, but I pray that each of us will do what we can to help the young men in our Wards learn these important life skills, which will help build them up and teach them how to be men.
