tintaxis (est. 2026) tintaxis has humans reading your work. We will never implement AI “bots” to read incoming manuscripts. Getting to know your rhythm helps us keep tintaxis a curated platform — no matter how long it takes, we will get it done! Our data is shared, exclusively, with writers, not ad platforms. tintaxis is a publisher and a reading platform. dp is not! They are traditional meets digital… we don’t want this model. We mean to change it. My New Yorker Poetry submission from 2019: "Boat Burning"-excerpt. Homage to "Barn Burning," my favorite Faulkner piece. The rejections were plenty, but shaped what tintaxis is today. As a digital publisher my goal is to respond with care and attention to anyone who applies, ensuring responses lead to optimistic results and not rejection. I offer you an olive branch towards optimism: leave feedback if you manage to read it.

A publisher once told me "Releasing your demo in this state was a mistake." We know some things definitely need improvement (we're still in dev!). But instead of letting it collect digital dust waiting for a publisher that might never come, we put it out there. No regrets.

Compare @Duotrope "the ultimate resource for writers and artists..." with us. We don't have 7,700 active publishers and agents, either, but: who's going to be a better agent of your work than yourself?

@tomfgoodwin I can see the use of this within an important scene of a book. Writers would benefit from that tactile response and context to what they are reading. Almost a hologram.

The way spatial photos can come alive on your phone I find quite magical I tried to make this a seductive rich ad unit , but not a single digital media owner / publisher replied to me when I tried to bring it to life. Even with keen big advertiser !
