Palos Verdes is rapidly sinking and Ted hasn’t so much as mentioned the name in two years now. They’re begging for help and he can’t even say the words. Go down his timeline and every single tweet from the past two years is about Trump. He’s not from California and has zero ties to this district. Can he even name the neighborhoods and cities he represents? Why is he so afraid and defensive of Californias (lack of) election integrity?

No way the Spurs could be leading at halftime and then lose at the end of the game to the Knicks.

@OuterEastLLC @cityaestheticss if they're waiting on transit to be perfect, they'll never ride it. Homeless, addicts, criminals you name it have places to go too.

@cityaestheticss Here in Portland we have a great transit system. However, since the city doesn’t take crime seriously many people choose not to use it because it’s like riding the Jerry Springer express.

@SquishyCoder @SFHTUnion But it's true. San Francisco is just a playground to them. They have no roots or commitments. There's nothing really wrong with that. Just call a spade a spade. They don't even stay in San Francisco.

@SFHTUnion What a completely retarded take! Techies aren't extracting precious metals from SF. They're literally BUILDING precious works through the efforts of their own minds. Software is literally ideas from their own brains. It's not "extracted" from SF. There's nothing to give back.

I wish LA was predominantly urbanized in the 1890s to 1930s. It would be the greatest city in the world.

@chriswithans No idea why anyone chooses to live there at this point. The weather reason is BS now. Highest taxes, highest energy prices, highest poverty rate, overrun with illegals, total shit show esp when there are WAY better options. No wonder more ppl moving out than in 1st time ever

Residents of California saw the problem in 1994 and voted for proposition 187. But then Democrats took the governorship in 1998 and declined to fight for the will of the people. Flash forward to 2010 and see how Obama decided to normalize illegal migration. And now we are where we are.
California YIMBY@cayimby

LA deliberately cut its housing capacity from ~10M to ~4M homes through single-family zoning. It hit that cap in the 1990s, then added 5x more jobs than homes 2010–2015. The result is one of the world's least affordable cities.

Imagine living above a Safeway... …two blocks from Ocean Beach. Dream location for a lot of people (Maybe a little too cold for me though 😂). Here's the proposal for the Outer Richmond Safeway in SF. Latest plans would transform a 3.3-acre site into: • 562 apartments • 112 affordable homes • A brand new Safeway • Retail space • Courtyards, playgrounds, and outdoor amenities I love these grocery store type developments because they're usually in walkable neighborhoods, with existing retail, and transit access. And in this case, you're also steps from one of the most beautiful coastlines in CA.

US stadiums are objectively brilliant, I’ll never understand the discourse around them on here over the last few weeks. Would they work in the UK? No. We care more about practicality than spectacle. We want to feel like we’re on the pitch. Are they still unreal? Yes.

@_sn_n If only Gwen Graham had won over Andrew Gillum in the 2018 primary she'd have beat DeSantis easily. Gillum only lost by about 32,000 votes. And that's as a democratic socialist backed by Bernie in then purple florida.

This is the MetLife Stadium where the world cup final will be held. The stadium in isolation is very impressive. But look around it - what a shithole. No pubs, no cafes etc, etc. This is a great example of how Americans take the soul out of football. #WC26 #FIFAworldcup

Drove from San Jose to SF for the first time ever today (I’m not from California). Absolutely shocked, floored, etc. at the incredible lack of development. Just mile after mile of trees and hills, not a single building or road, in what’s probably a top five value-per-acre area. I see why people are mad about NIMBYism now…

@Chet_WPS @1drizz @Ham_zee111 None of that matters. It's all about winning and team would rather win in a dump than lose in a palace. This is how you spot the non-sports fan. More concerned about fashion than the game.
