@maheshperi @ShivAroor @ndtv Instead of a single exam, we should have 100% weightage for 11th and 12th performance.
This will help do away with the coaching menace, & reduce pressure on students and parents.

Last night on @Ndtv, I asked the NTA director, courtesy @ShivAroor. There are 5 questions that bother me on the NEET paper leak and I asked:
1. Public MBBS seat costs about Rs.5 lacs while a private one costs Rs.1.5 crores. The financial incentive for families and brokers is far too high. How do you counter the imbalance?
2. NEET is pen & paper exam. The physical paper is transported to 5000+ Centers and at least 200,000 hands. The time gap is often weeks before the exam. How do we solve this?
3. Only NTA knows the extent of the leak. The fact that they cancelled the exam means it is substantial. What was the extent of the leak?
4. Was anyone punished for the 2024 leak fiasco? Can we have a white paper on what we learnt from 2024?
5. Can India reduce the dependence on a single entrance exam that determines the fate of students? If we have 50% weightage for school scores, we can curb the coaching mafia menace..

papa: "...was not THAT small."
mama: "hmmmm... koom bigger than that rabbit."
papa mouth twitch. fighting it. fighting the smile.
lose.
small laugh. tired laugh. but real.
mama not fix the empty hand. mama not make meat appear. mama just go back far enough in the story to find a version of papa who still believe in himself. and she bring that version forward. sit him right next to the tired one.

THAT what partner do. not fix the bad day. just refuse to let the bad day be the whole story.

@bigulchugh 🚨Also, when the refund is proposed, it should be at the current rate of booking a ticket.
If we rebook, we don't get the same price as two months back price.
All refunds should be at current rate.

My brother-in-law had a flight on Saturday from Ahmedabad to Delhi.
IndiGo cancelled the flight citing “operational reasons.”
When he contacted them, the default response was: full refund, please book another ticket yourself.
He pushed back and clearly asked for re-accommodation on the next available Delhi flight, instead of a refund.
The response stayed the same: not possible, we can issue full refund. Please book flight yourself.
After continuous arguing, suddenly it became possible and they booked him on a flight 4 hours later.
So here’s the real question to IndiGo:
Why not ask the customer upfront what they want?
Why force a refund and make passengers rebook on your own fault risking higher fares, seat unavailability, and ruined plans?
Refunds don’t fix disrupted schedules.
Re-accommodation does ( upto some extent atleast)
Stop trying to pass the inconvenience (and cost) back to the customer after cancelling flights due to your failure.
Do better.

My father-in-law chose the Mahindra XUV700 because he wanted to support an Indian brand. I told him to look at MG Hector or Innova, but he still went with his heart. After just 1600 km, the car broke down while returning from the airport after dropping me. Dead screen, nothing working, can’t start it, can’t even lock it.
Imagine spending 27 lakh on a new car and waiting on the highway for a tow truck. This is why I struggle to trust Indian brands. I really hope Mahindra fixes this and matches international standards. I’m angry and honestly feel bad for the whole family. Thanks Mahindra for letting him down.
