Rahul Gandhi is attacking Mamata Banerjee the same way he attacked Pinarayi Vijayan in Kerala, raising questions on why there is no interrogation of the CM, why so much corruption, and suggesting being hand in glove with BJP; he did similar attacks on Kejriwal in Delhi too after a very different Lok Sabha approach, which makes it seem like an attempt to keep a united opposition at the national level while also trying to revive state units. The dichotomy may be striking, but he appears to be doing this across states, even in TN with a limited campaign and no stage sharing with CM Stalin, pointing to an effort to rebuild Congress where it is fighting to survive; whether this works or ends up taking a long time, only time will tell….

The irony of this tweet. Prashant Bhushan was the co-founder of AAP. His father Shanti Bhushan was the person who gave AAP it's first mega donation. Years later, Arvind Kejriwal got Prashant removed from 'his' party. Prashant has gone on record to talk about Kejriwal's dictatorial conduct. Now when Raghav Chadda leaves AAP and joins BJP, Prashant forgets what Kejriwal did with him and in his ideological hate for BJP, shares this very sexist picture. The meltdown since yesterday in the Leftist circles of India is a sight to behold and I am loving it.

What have we done or failed to do for this society? Parents, Teachers & Social Influencers need to introspect on how we have allowed such a rotten idea to creep into our political system. Tamil Nadu as a state has progressed well in the last 75 years. Our past rulers may not have been perfect but they have not been as bad as what has been projected. Be it Congress or DMK or AIADMK they had done their job well. If this start up party is getting double digit in vote share & single digit in seats then that blame goes to every stakeholder. Insanity has entered into many homes in the Urban areas. Whoever forms the Government has an humungous responsibility to clean up this poison from our political system. The youth are into Drugs & whom are those youth supporting. That would give us an answer. I dread of some of these zombies to go to extreme lengths when they realise that TVK is nowhere near to forming the government. Praying to God to save this state from Psychos.

என் பையின் சிப் கிழிந்ததை சரிசெய்ய நான் கொல்லம் போகும் வழியில் இந்த அய்யாவைச் சந்தித்தேன். “பத்து நிமிஷம் ஆகும்… வெயிட் பண்றீங்களா ” என்று தமிழ் கலந்த மலையாளத்தில் மிகவும் மரியாதையாகச் சொன்னார். பையை சரிசெய்ய காத்திருக்கும்போது, நான் சும்மா அவரிடம் பேசத் தொடங்கினேன். பெயர் – பராசக்தி நாடு – அடிமாலி, இடுக்கி முன்பு KSEB-ல் வேலை. ஓய்வு பெற்றவர். BSc, டிப்ளமோ முடித்தவர். வயது 70 KSEB-இல் இருந்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற பிறகு, பலர் ஓய்வெடுக்கும் வயதில், பராசக்தி அவர்கள் உறவினர் இருக்கும் கொல்லத்துக்கு வந்தார். ஓய்வூதியத் தொகையில் இடுக்கியில் 3 ஏக்கர் ஏலக்காய் தோட்டத்தையும் அதில் ஒரு வீட்டையும் வாங்கினார். கொல்லத்தில் வந்து அவர் ஓய்ந்து உட்காரவில்லை. உடல் சக்தி இருக்கும் வரை கட்டிட வேலைக்கு சென்றார். கிடைத்த எல்லா வேலைகளையும் செய்தார். வயது காரணமாக உடல் சோர்ந்தபோது, சாலையோரத்தில் செருப்பு, பை பழுது பார்க்கும் ‘ஆசான்’ உடன் சேர்ந்தார். அந்த வேலையை கற்றுக்கொண்டார். இன்று ஆசான் இல்லை… ஆனால் அதே இடத்தில் பராசக்தி அவர்கள் அந்த வேலையைத் தொடர்கிறார். KSEB பென்ஷன் இருக்கிறது. இருந்தாலும் காலை 6 மணி முதல் மாலை 6 மணி வரை வெயிலும் மழையிலும் செருப்பு தைத்து வேலை செய்கிறார். கொல்லத்தில் சம்பாதித்த பணத்தில் 5 சென்ட் நிலம் வாங்கி, ஒரு வீடு கட்டினார் — தனது சொந்த உழைப்பால். 5 வருடங்களுக்கு முன் மனைவி மறைந்தார். மகள் BSc Nursing முடித்து புதுச்சேரியில் வேலை செய்கிறார். இப்போது கொல்லத்தில் உள்ள வீட்டை வாடகைக்கு விட்டுள்ளார். இடுக்கியில் உள்ள ஏலத்தோட்டம் குத்தகைக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கொல்லத்தில் ஒரு சிறிய அறை வாடகைக்கு எடுத்து தனியாக வாழ்கிறார். சமைப்பதும் தானே. மகள் சில நேரங்களில் வருவார். அந்த ஏலத்தோட்டத்தை வாங்க ஒரு நிறுவனம் (மஹீந்திரா) வந்துள்ளது. “நான் சொன்ன விலை கிடைத்தால் மட்டுமே விற்ப்பேன்” என்று உறுதியுடன் இருக்கிறார். பென்ஷன் இருந்தும் வேலை செய்கிறார்… ஏனெனில் அவருக்கு தெரியும்: ஓய்வு என்பது உடலுக்குத்தான், மனதுக்கு அல்ல. மூன்று ஏக்கர் ஏலத்தோட்டத்தின் உரிமையாளர் — சொன்னால் ஒரு சின்ன கோடீஸ்வரர். இருந்தும் தெருவில் உட்கார்ந்து வேலை செய்கிறார். ஏனெனில் அவருக்கு தெரியும்: மரியாதை ஆடையிலல்ல, உழைப்பில்தான். மகள் நர்ஸ்… இருந்தும் அவர் மகளுக்கு சுமையாக இல்லை. ஏனெனில் அவருக்கு தெரியும்: பிள்ளைகள் நம்முடைய சொத்து அல்ல. மனைவி இறந்து 5 ஆண்டுகள் ஆனாலும் தளரவில்லை. ஏனெனில் அவருக்கு தெரியும்: தனியாக இருந்தாலும் முதுகு நிமிர்ந்து நிற்க வேண்டும். எல்லாம் இருந்தும், இன்னும் காலை 6 முதல் மாலை 6 வரை வேலை செய்கிறார். ஏனெனில் அவருக்கு தெரியும்: வியர்க்காமல் நிற்கும் நாள் — வாழ்வு மங்கத் தொடங்கும் நாள். நாம் பலர் 25 வயதில் “வாழ்க்கை சலிச்சுடுச்சு” என்போம். 30 வயதில் “வாய்ப்பு இல்லை” என்போம். 40 வயதில் “இனி நேரமே இல்லை” என்போம். 50 வயதில் “இனி முடியாது” என்போம். முதுமை ஒரு நோயல்ல… செயலற்ற தன்மையே நோய். பராசக்தி ஐயாவிற்கு ஒரு பெரிய சல்யூட் ❤️ இப்படிப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள்தான் நம் நாட்டின் முதுகெலும்பு. இவர்களைப் போன்றவர்களால்தான் இந்த உலகம் இன்னும் அழகாக இருக்கிறது. வயதை வெல்லும் போராளி — இவர்களின் கதைகள்தான் பாடப்புத்தகங்களில் இருக்க வேண்டியது. Ok national spokesperson of TVK. Everyone have studied and know how to do simple math. You want official age wise voters % ? The 80:20 rule doesn’t work always. Considerable youth are with NTK. Even DMK /ADMK has a strong youth wing 1+1=2 so also 1.5+0.5=2 &3-2=1 so, that’s math

Doc , do the simple math. Out of 4.8 cr votes, 1.18 cr are bw 18-30. 90% of youngsters are saying they'll vote for Vijay. Have you seen any youngster say they're voting for 🍃or 🌄? Hand on heart. If that's the case, Vijay starts with 1 cr votes. That's 20% voteshare.

மத பற்று வளர்வதற்கு இப்படியான துவேஷ செயல்பாடுகளே காரணம். நம்பிக்கை இருக்கும் ஒருவர் வழிபாட்டுக்கு சென்றார். இதில் என்ன மத வாதம்? ‘பெரிய இடத்தில்’ இருப்பவர்கள் கோவிலாக கோவிலாக செல்லலாம். ஆனால் மற்றவர்கள் செய்தால் மத வாதம் , பக்க வாதம் என்று புலம்புவது.

This is what we have been saying since polling date. Arm chair journalism from Delhi on any state politics & election particularly sensitive states like TN, Bengal, Kerala doesn’t help. You can hoot for somebody, but basic homework is must @Zakka_Jacob

In 220 out of 234 constituencies, the actual votes (not %) increased. And they still say no wave 😷 Maximum increase in semi-urban constituencies at over 10,000 votes per constituency.
