The Esso station at Ellerslie Road and Summerside Drive in south Edmonton had several of its pumps taken out of service Wednesday after multiple drivers reported their vehicles stalling or failing to start shortly after filling up at the location.
Drivers who filled up at the location told YEGWAVE they believe water may have been mixed into the fuel, causing their vehicles to stall or fail to start.
The situation spread quickly through the Summerside community, with residents warning each other not to fuel up at the Circle K-operated station.

Last month, we received a family gift of $260,000.
We debated a lot and ultimately decided for a few reasons to drop it all on our 3.75% mortgage.
Our mortgage went from $750k --> $490k
We recognize we could have made much more investing, but it felt secure to take a little risk off the table. Mortgage calculator shows this will save us $285k in interest.
We then recasted our mortgage and our payment dropped from ~$3,800 to ~$2,400.

Elon: "There is some chance that HW3 does not achieve the safety level that allows for unsupervised FSD. There is some chance of that. And if that turns out to be the case, we will upgrade those who bought hardware 3 FSD for free. We're going to have to upgrade people's hardware 3 computer for those that have bought Full Self-Driving. And that is the honest answer. And that's going to be painful and difficult, but we'll get it done.
What we want to do is we want to get unsupervised done on Hardware 4 first. Once it's done, then we'll go back and look at what we need to do with Hardware 3 cars. Yeah, we've not completely given up on HW3, but we do want to solve autonomy first, and then we'll come back with a way to take care of customers. These customers are very important. They were the early adopters. We will definitely take care of you guys.
Once the V14 release series is fully done, we are planning on working on a V14 lite version for Hardware 3, probably expected in Q2 next year"

As mentioned in our comment/reply, we don’t mind the wait. We use FSD V12.6.4 daily, and have many completely end-to-end drives without disengagements.
Our experience has been favorable; that is not the case for all. Voices matter, and we’ll be happy when this chapter closes.

A comment / our thoughts on the state of HW3 and a Full Self-Driving (Unsupervised) future, from a HW3 owner.
We are quoting this as @SawyerMerritt has highlighted that the #1 investor question right now pertains to HW3.

As a HW3 Model 3 owner (and one of the first to get a retrofit from HW2.5), I don’t think it’s per se an issue with the answer we’ve received from Tesla, and more so the timeline. Everyone has their own tolerances for waiting; while I don’t mind waiting years, others feel differently. Many will lose their vehicle or sell it (whether to upgrade to another Tesla or not) before seeing Unsupervised come to fruition. So I think that rephrasing the question to request a formal timeline and commitment, rather than guestimations, would appease the largest group of HW3 owners. “You will receive Unsupervised after we solve it on AI4” has already been given (and is a solid answer). Still, without tangible commitments, it leaves owners (and retail investors) with more questions. If a software only solution is on the table, more confidence is necessary. If a form of retrofit is required, try to set a firm limit on anticipation. I believe we all mutually feel this way. ❤️

Deliveries of the new Production Version begin this year:
• Long Range model has 500 miles of range with a full payload.
• 1.7 kWh per mile efficiency (average diesel semis are roughly 5–7 kWh per mile equivalent energy use).
• Tri-motor powertrain with 800 kW of power (~1,073 hp), 3x the power of the average diesel semi.
• The battery in the Semi is designed to last 1M miles.
• Standard Range model (325 mi) has a similar turning radius as a Tesla Model 3/Y.
• 0.4 drag coefficient.
• Independent truckers are able to buy a Semi for use, not just fleet owners.
• Semi fleet uptime is at 95% due to extremely low maintenance and reliability.
• Integrated safety features in the Semi protect not just the driver but others on the road as well.
• Future wireless charging.
• Semi uses the same 4680 battery cells found in the Cybertruck.
• Semi can power a whole refrigeration trailer or any powered unit. The technology is shared with Cybertruck Powershare.

@SawyerMerritt Not sure why folks are making a big fuss over HW3. I'm on HW3, and I'm using FSD on every single drive, everyday, with zero interventions.
Compared to my wife's HW4, HW4 is smoother, can reverse, can go parking spot to parking spot. Other than that, HW3 works just as well.
