Someone said the social media manager should be fired because they're a waste of tax dollars, and that the police department should act better online. With that said, once in 7th grade, my buddy John and I succeeded at making funny fart noises on our trumpets in band class. I don’t see the point of this type of journalism. Journalists should stop calling presidents directly and regurgitating whatever they say without letting us hear the actual conversation. It should be proper sit-down interviews, press pool access, or White House briefings. These ridiculous phone calls are phony journalism that looks like propaganda, similar to how President Trump used to phone into Fox News. This is an example of how journalistic standards are degraded. What’s next? Texting and DM’ing presidents and get quick one liners like - “we are doing amazing”

Just had a brief phone call with @potus this morning and asked him several questions about Iran. He noted when he answered that it was not a good time to chat because he was in the middle of a "very important meeting" about it - but said the following:

None of us give a single damn about their threats. The moment our time comes the moment the call is given to us we will take to the streets to finish what we started and take our country back. We wrote his name on the walls with our blood, and over 36K of our fallen heroes gave their lives asking for his return to the country and chanting his name. What a day. This blew up. Did not expect that. We faced numerous issues today due to a huge influx of users. The system was built to be scalable but obviously it was not scalable enough. Most of the issues are now resolved. Infrastructure is upgraded. Code is modified to be more intelligent and lean. When we fixed the infrastructure the global Map rendering started to fail. This was also now resolved. If you had trouble getting in, please try again. Thanks for your patience and love. Did not anticipate the demand would be this high. Some stats: within our first hour 500 people signed up. That pace continued most of the day, peaking at more than 800 signups around 2pm today just as it was buckling. There are now nearly 7,000 accounts. In less than 24 hours. Some people have also expressed concerns that if the product is free, you are the product. That is patently false. We have zero intent to monetize in anyway other than offering optional paid tiers in the future. Also aware that some folks created a meme coin in SitDeck’s name. This is not something we have sanctioned or asked for and we need to understand the implications of it. It is appreciated but not sure we want that. This is not a money grab of any kind. For now thank you. Please continue to be patient. This is a new project. There will be other issues, no doubt. But hopefully this was the peak of them. Best, Dan

So, Elon called me retarded... Here are my thoughts. A group that still holds disproportionate political, economic, and cultural power is not facing extinction. Confusing ‘not exclusive anymore’ with ‘oppressed’ is telling. When someone insists that the existence or growth of non-white populations is inherently alarming, they’re implicitly admitting something else, that they believe status, power, or legitimacy should be tied to race. Notice how no one answers the question I asked, just a lot of anger. That’s usually a sign the argument isn’t very sturdy. Also this guy left out the context of the post, removing the image of statistics from large cities in Elon’s original post, showing that minorities eclipsed the number of white people in those cities. I was asking why that was a problem. And who the hell cares if there’s fewer white people being born than minorities. Skin color doesn’t matter, does it? So once again I genuinely ask as a White Person with friends of all races, what if White people became a smaller portion of the American populace. Why is that a bad thing?
