The event wrapped up, and I finally have a moment to reflect. Huge thanks to our hosting partners @Cardano_CF @awscloud , @RareEvo Amplify Cardano, @vesprwallet @SundialProtocol, @meshsdk , @PropBid_hk , @DeltaDeFi and plus everyone supporting behind the scenes. Special thanks to @JeremyFirsterCF @ChrisJoannou__, @giozzi @indi_gital , @Josi_sndnc , @DenicioBernier this simply wouldn’t have been possible without you. Honestly, I didn’t realize how hard the first run would be — especially the livestream and overall flow. We spent a lot of late nights testing audio, camera, transitions, and backup plans. And since this was the first time we livestreamed an entire event via the @Cardano X account, we definitely couldn’t “just wing it. Legend @damiantywong stayed at my place for 4–5 nights, helping test the setup, and Denicio put in a ton of extra hours to make sure everything finally clicked. Seeing it all come together on event night honestly felt unreal. Hope this makes it easier for more Cardano community events in other regions to go online and connect globally. Loved seeing both familiar friends and new faces (business owners + students). @sidan_lab 's years of building in Hong Kong are starting to pay off. More stories to come. TLDR: Welcome to Cardano! ₳

Those are valid points and you listed some good examples of alts that had success without a mainnet. We'd argue, however, that we're in an entirely different context today and the same rules don't apply. Launching a token without a working product in 2025 should raise some eyebrows. This isn't 2017, where everything was theory. It's 2025 and we have real working web3 apps nowadays. The industry is evolving. That's why so many alts are left in the dust... even with working mainnets. We're not saying $NIGHT is necessarily one of them. We're intrigued, but not wholly enthusiastic for the reasons stated above. At least not yet.
