Yesterday marked a milestone as I officially hand over the site and open it to the public. Bashir Kazibwe (@MbaziiraKazibwe ) entrusted me with this site at the planning stage, and from day one, we have worked hand in hand to turn a vision into reality. What started as an idea has now grown into something truly special. CocoLand (@Cocolandfarm ) is a farm resort designed to offer more than just a getaway it’s an experience. A place where nature meets comfort, where adventure blends with culture, and where every guest finds a reason to stay longer. From the views to the activities, from the hospitality to the atmosphere, every detail has been carefully crafted to create a unique destination in Buikwe–Jinja. Today, we don’t just open doors we welcome you to be part of this journey. Welcome to CocoLand Farm Resort.

This was supposed to happen in December but Nabbanja halted it. It was inevitable.

Uganda’s power supply remains stable and secure. However, to address emerging governance and accountability issues at Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited @UEDCLTD and strengthen oversight, the Government of Uganda @GovUganda and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development @MEMD_Uganda have undertaken targeted measures to safeguard service delivery and operational efficiency. These actions, led by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, are part of routine governance to reinforce accountability and institutional performance. I assure all Ugandans that electricity distribution services will continue uninterrupted during this transition.

.@TourismBoardUg (UTB) is now a Destination Partner of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), a key step in positioning Uganda within global tourism leadership, partnerships, and investment conversations. @WTTC brings together the world’s most influential tourism companies, shaping where travelers go and where investment flows. We are ensuring Uganda is part of these global conversations and positioned in front of the right audiences. What does this mean for our tourism value chain? More visibility for Uganda. Stronger credibility on the global stage. More opportunities for businesses to grow and attract higher-value clients. For tour operators: package stronger, experience-led offerings. For hotels and lodges: raise standards and stand out online. For restaurants: deliver quality and authentic Ugandan experiences. Our role is to open the doors. The opportunity is for all of us now, to step through this door and grow. @GGuevaraM

TOPIC; SOVEREIGNTY BILL DISCUSSIONS! PERSONS ; Hon @Thomas_Tayebwa and MOSES BYARUHANGA Bwana @Ronkawamara and I today afternoon had over an hour with Hon @Thomas_Tayebwa who was graceful enough as usual to listen to what we thought about sovereignty bill. Business teaches one about how economies generally function since it’s what we practice daily. A business person is a practical economist! In business we deal with figures and general words daily, we understand cash inflows and outflows at a personal level and can equate that to how nations operate. Of course he has what is called a collective responsibility in government and therefore, can’t be open about his actual thoughts but our responsibility is to engage. We appreciate the fact that government has allowed the public to challenge their position on this particular topic and we hope they will make an informed decision thereafter.

Uganda Invited Robbie the Arsenal Fan TV Man. Crucial Robbie Also Came. #Ugandans welcomed @ItsRobbieLyle the way only Ugandans can welcome a visiting football celebrity: with noise, selfies, @Arsenal pain-management therapy, and serious belief that this time, surely, the league table will behave. It had better. At Kati Kati, Robbie and the @AFTVMedia team were treated like emissaries from North London. The crowd bounced, the cameras rolled, and when Eze delivered that crucial moment against Newcastle, the place erupted as if #Uganda had discovered oil again, but this time with fewer procurement questions. But here is where the plot thickens. The man Ugandans are hosting is not merely Robbie of AFTV. No. Before the fan cams, before the rants, before asking wounded Arsenal fans, “What went wrong today?” there was another Robbie. Crucial Robbie. Yes, brethren. In the late 1980s, somewhere in the club circuits of Luton, this man was not holding a microphone for fans. He was holding it for himself. Of Jamaican heritage, he once stepped into reggae territory with 'Proud to Be Black', featuring The Offbeat Posse. That was not football content. That was roots. Identity. Bassline. Pan-African seasoning. Now imagine Uganda in those days. Reggae was not music; it was public policy. A serious reggae show could defeat an Arsenal viewing party without extra time. Nile Hotel, now @kampalaserena, became our international music altar. Chaka Demus & Pliers, Third World, Papa San, Buju Banton, Aswad, Shaggy, and the late Lucky Dube all passed through our national bloodstream. So when Robbie is seen dancing Ekitaguriro somewhere near Lake Bunyonyi, smiling like a man negotiating with rhythm, one begins to suspect Uganda may have under-booked him. Why only football? Why not a reggae set? Why not a Pan-African lecture? Why not both, with a small Arsenal post-match counseling session at the end? Lucky Dube once joked at Nile Hotel that he would marry a Ugandan girl, and the @DailyMonitor ran with it like a striker through a weak backline. So who knows? Perhaps Crucial Robbie, after gorillas, and crucial visibility for @MTWAUganda , Ekitaguriro, and enough Ugandan hospitality, may make his own crucial decision. Maybe someone should call @TSbR_Bass. Yes, of Yohanes Ham Inx. Yes, let Tshaka Ham Winston Shakarama know. Because Uganda invited Robbie Lyle. We need to make that crucial call. But somewhere inside him, Crucial Robbie may still be warming up. And Uganda's club scene is, probably still Hot! Like was said of Lucky Dube, we could even get Robbie a wife! Over to you @Wonder__jR .
